This is the absolute best box hair color I have ever used. Have been at home and salon dyeing my hair for over 30 years. The color is identical to the box; a rich, multi tone hue. I have gray roots, and this colors them completely and blends seamlessly with the rest of my hair. I've used this same color multiple times, and each time my hair is colored consistently. The color stays true until I color again, about 6-8 weeks later.The included pre color for the ends of your hair is very useful and I encourage people to use it. I think it helps with the consistent results. The conditioner included is very nourishing and leaves my hair soft with body; does not weigh it down. The instructions are easy to follow. The smell of the prepared hair color is pleasant and not overwhelming. I have a sensitive scalp and usually have a slight burning sensation on my scalp when I color with other box dyes, but not with this one.Be aware: as it states in the instructions, the color of the mixed hair color is NOT indicative of the final result. The mixed color you apply, with this particular shade is a bright orange color; like buffalo wings sauce!! Scared me during application, but no worries, the actual final color is a true, vibrant match like on the box.

I love this color for when we shift into the fall/winter months. The first week after doing my hair, it’s an adjustment since the color is very bold, but it wears nicely as the weeks go on. The pics I showed were a before and after. I tend to go lighter for spring/summer. I feel like the Schwarzkopf brand lasts awhile, grays are covered pretty well, and the colors are pretty vibrant. I figure since I don’t go blonde or do highlights, that it’s easier to do the color myself. Plus, I save like $125 doing it myself. Overall, very happy. Only downside, is you do need to be very careful to wash it all out after coloring. The white tank I wore last night has red on it- despite thinking I got it all before drying.

I like this brand a lot and won’t use any other. It’s always spot on with color, lasts a long time if you take care of your hair, no strong smell and it doesn’t make my hair frizzy. Try it it won’t disappoint. I highly recommend any color.

accessories - the box only has gloves and they rip easily; I stained my left thumbsmell - there is a slight chemical smell that did not bother me, but if you are very sensitive to smell - you might not like itquantity - I felt that there was plenty of material to cover my hair and even a little too much. I have medium shoulder length, full head of hair, and I had no problem covering everythinginstructions - very easy to follow, all tubes are numbered according to order in which you use themstaining - it stained the skin all over. but as the instructions say - they all come right off with a basic tonic or lotionrinse - this is the weird part; there was TOO MUCH washing out to be done; the water was copper red (I used Rich Caviar color). The water splashes stained the shower stall too, but since I noticed them - I cleaned them right awayhair quality - the hair looks great; feels very full volume; color is deep and uniformallergy - I had no irritation at all; I kept the hair color on for 40 minutes; no allergy 24 hours latercolor - I have dark brown hair with grown out highlights (copper color at this point); this hair color covered everything very uniform and same shade - from roots to tipsOverall, good quality hair color. Will have to see how long it lasts.

This color is great on my hair which is very dark brown with red sort of undertone naturally.It looks like a really dark color when in normal light, or in the dark, but in the sun it has a fiery red highlight and I love that.I wash my hair every other day, so no, it doesn’t last long and I have to redo it a lot, but that is because of the frequency of my hair washing. It will last through the amount of washes it claims on the box, I just use them up fast.When it fades a bit the highlight isn’t as red, but it’s still there. I have never seen this color in any other boxed dye. If your hair is drier, condition your hair really well after using. Not just with what’s included, but get a good conditioner. I have very dry hair, all dyes make that worse.If you are sitting in the sun, it will look dark where the sun is not hitting and red where it is. I think that’s awesome. One more thing, when you apply it, it will look pastel pink after you first mix it, it will turn orange on your head while processing, then it will turn dark purple and it rinses red like someone has been slaughtered in your shower, and if no one has, then it’s just the dye has changed completely. but don’t let all this change make you think you were sent the wrong dye or worry you. The first time I mixed it and it was pastel pink I thought I might have bought the incorrect color. But that’s just how it is.

Beautiful color.

I have found this brand to be pretty intense. I love this color, dark blackish ruby red, and it came out true to what was advertised on the box. It also covered every single grey and never faded. However, I was still wringing the color from my hair 2 months after I initially dyed it. The water from my hair still had a slight red tint to it. I've never experienced anything like it. It's crazy because this dye never left stains on my skin when I applied it and washed it off. I would expect it to with that kind of staying power.After wearing this color for several months, I decided to dye my hair back to a 3 black/brown in a different brand of box dye and could still see the ruby in my hair after a couple of full dye jobs. I decided to use this brand again, but in a dark brown to try and counter it and it seemed to work but since this brand seems to be rough on my hair I won't be using it anymore. 3 stars for a true and beautiful color but minus 2 for the neverending bleeding.
