Yes, this is inexpensive, but (one drawback aside) it get's the job done beautifully. The problem? As other reviewers of this (and lots of other) inexpensive deployment clasps complain, the edges are sharp as can be and really irritate your wrist. Solution? I metal file. In just a few minutes I took the edges down on the areas that bothered me and bingo, a fancy deployment clasp! Who can tell? Mine was black but the all the filings that show bare metal are hidden to outside viewers and it bothers me no more. Proceed carefully, you want to do this slowly and patiently.

These are great watch clasps, secure, well made and machined, great matte finish! Saves a good strap as you no longer wrench it around to buckle and unbuckle.I wish this one came in 22m and the silver came brushed.

I have installed these on 3 of my watches now and I really like how it saves wear and tear on the band and helps me put the watch on quickly and easily every time. One note if you have not tried a deployant before, it does add some thickness to the bottom part at the strap. I tried to show that in a picture. The overall thickness is just under 10mm including the strap. My wrists are fairly large, so it's not a big deal. I do also believe that significantly more expensive deployants can shave some thickness, but for the price these are very hard to beat.

Nice fit, stays locked, easy release. I like it so far. The polished finish is a much but alls ok otherwise so far

Appears very nicely made. I ordered matte black and got shiny instead but no big deal. It's not like you spend a lot of time looking at it.
