... and it's good. Very good. This is as good as a bottled Shiraz in a much more user-friendly and convenient package. Buy it now before the Amazon accountants start meddling with the quality/price.

This red wine is ok, that's my opening gambit not being an expert wine critic or sommelier. For new world shiraz, its good as others I have had, if not slightly better for the price point. Very fruity and sweet, with a strong but not overpowering flavour. Nice after taste of raspberries with a note of, and it is a note not overpowering, of oak at the back of the palate. Quite quaffable, it is quite sweet and you can feel the hangover approaching, but if you are a fan of wolfblass or jam shed, then this is really really good value.

This wine has a silky mouthfeel and is very easy drinking. It gives you a sweet and thin start but then takes a turn towards full and fruity. I did not get much of the hint of bacon and white pepper as it says on the bottle.

By no means would I describe myself as a wine connoisseur so you can take this review as if its from a complete novice. That said I used to work at a brewery and logged the highest score on their taste panel!!Initially I thought that this wine was a little thin on the palette but after several sips the body came through and it was full and fruity.I didn't get much of the 'bacon' or 'white pepper' note as described on the bottle which I interpreted as smokey/sulphitic so I thought it resulted in a cleaner taste.Verdict: Nice easy drinking wine that would be a great accompaniment for red meats and cheese. I think the price is a good reflection of the quality.If Amazon want to send me more of these wines for review as part of the Vine Customer system I'd be more than happy to take a bottle or two. :-)

The taste of the shiraz was nice and i didnt feel sick so recommended.

Australian Shiraz is my faviourite type of red wine. Amazon Australian Shiraz was to my taste. It is a type of everyday drinking wines. Smooth, easy drinking and enjoyable.
