Very nice, well built sink strainer. All metal construction, unlike some other products (e.g., Houzer 190-4200 Stainless Steel Drain Basket Strainer) that have plastic parts. Perfect fit to replace the broken plastic strainer on our laundry sink. Installed easily and works great with no leaks whatsoever. Comes with everything that you need except the plumber's putty that will make for a perfect installation. It's not often that a purchase will exceed expectations and be reasonably priced, but this Keeney 878PC Bar Sink Strainer does both. It's a great product and a tremendous value.

I found a leak in the kitchen sink in my travel trailer and, when attempting to stop the leak, discovered that the drain was made of plastic and had broken. Great. I bought two of these, from different companies, just in case. Easy replacement (with some plumber's putty on the sink side when putting it in) and it won't break in a million years. The original wz installed by a major plumbing company here n town (Tulsa, OK) flip’n idiots! After 18 months it began to leak after 1 hr of attempting to tighten the darn thing back down, I disassembled the entire drain & that wz that only time that I cld get it to tighten down. But once reassembled it acted as if it wz stripped. Time & time again it wld tighten down or up n this case. And then once again lose its tightening ability (aka stripped). So I order this as a replacement & it worked like a charm. Wham! Bam! & DONE! The threads appear to b a lil’ more aggressive or course… The nut is also larger and this went on the very 1st time w/o issue! And… no more leaks… Thx!

Works well ,noticed novice comment that said gasket was too thick ? Well they reversed the the top and bottom gaskets , why your fault as there are no instructions? Add .50 cent to product and provide instructions for non professional users .! Duh ?

I went to home depot and they didn't have anything this small for my application. My sink is in my toy hauler. Toy hauler is 20 years old and was leaking. Bought two of these and replaced both sides of the sink. Throw the gasket that comes with it in the trash and use plumbers putty. Gives you a more level finish and will not leave standing water. The gasket is too thick. Overall, this appears to be a decent product and i would recommend it for sinks with the smaller holes. 2inch -1 &3/4

Anyone looking to replace the laundry sink drain with opening of 2", this works. Last one rusted after 20 years. This does look good, but who knows about longevity.

I accidentally snapped in half the original drain in my camper's sink during removal for cleaning, so I quickly needed a replacement and decided on this one. At same time I bought the other half needed to complete the whole drain but overall it worked great and went together nicely. I didn't end up using the tightening nuts that come with it as they weren't needed for my setup. I used the rubber gasket and that alone was enough to do the job and prevent leaks. Well worth the money and I had zero issues with it, I am happy I got this as there was nothing local available to me.
