Eizo EV2455-BK 24-Inch LCD/LED Monitor - Black

This is a really good monitor. Its additional vertical resolution (16:10 native) allows documents and web pages to be viewed without the continuous scrolling that is necessary with the more prevalent 16:9 format monitors. Its performance is excellent and with very good eco-credentials. My unit was delivered minus its USB cable and this was rectified very rapidly bty Eizo's UK support unit who proved to be friendly and helpful.

Awesome monitor.

I've had this monitor for a week and it really is superb. Text is beautifully clear, and my pics look very true colourwise, much better than on my old HP and Dell Ultrasharp monitors. The eco setting looked a bit dim in a darkened room, but given time I realised that it was much more comfortable to work with. It brightens up considerably when the sun's out and, although it can be adjusted, standard settings now seem about right. There is a 'DICOM' medical mode which is brilliantly bright.Good range of connections. My main machine, a Mac Mini, is plugged in the HDMI, and the (very) old HP I use for Windows in the VGA. I've even had the work laptop in the DP port. There is a DVI as well.Now for the flies in the ointment. Firstly, the power lead was a Euro connector rather than a UK one. Easily replaced with a spare that I had around, but anyone else buying may need to be aware. Secondly the speakers are hopeless tinny things not even up to the clipon HP and Dell ones I've used on my other monitors. Thankfully there is an audio out so it's easy enough to hook up better ones or use headphones.Overall a very good purchase.

I will update later. Beware anyone buying despite the list of accessories supposedly provided advising that signal cables (note plural) and usb cables supplied. No hdmi or dvi cables are included. (A 2m display port cable was in the pack). Very disappointing as I need a 2m hdmi lead to connect to my system. I wouldn't have minded purchasing the cables had I known in advance. However for the price it seemed reasonable to assume that these would arrive as stated. Very disappointing so far. I will update when I get the cable. Amazon don't exactly make it easy to sort this out. Seems the only option is to return the entire package to sort this which I really don't want to do.Hope this helps those thinking of buying

This is super-ECO (++ for ECO functions) LED monitor with horrible edge light leaks, terrible speakers sound (my Ericsson mobile plays better sound), disastrous stand (you need all of your 3 hands to tilt that work-out), glamour toilet tissues paper mode colours (ok for Financial Times or local Yellow Pages) and great overpricing (worth circa 50-55% of street price). I'd go for NEC next time (I have 2 NECs and 1 Dell right now, and I got this EIZO EV2455 two times: the first and the last one EIZO in my house).
