I just received this today. The package reads to keep refrigerated. It was shipped in a box without ice packs. Will it still be good?

I bought this tub of miso years ago and it came in a regular box. I refrigerated it after opening and it's been in my fridge now for years. I still use it to make soups and it has been perfectly fine.
