Great skillet. After the intial old timey seasoning of the skillet I am very pleased.

If you want to deep-fry and don’t mind doing a little heavy lifting, this Cast Iron Skillet is an excellent choice. It seared steak, fried eggs, and released homemade bread really well!. And though it has some weight to it the handle is well made and easy to grip (although i recommend a silicone handle topper as I do with all cast iron skillets). The depth of this pan also allows for frying chicken or preparing shallow braises. I love that this pan has the quality of some of the higher level brands with a very competitive cost. If you are looking for a skillet that meets all needs, look no further! Eve

Nice pan

Since I have nothing to compare it with, I can’t give this pan a true critique. However, it has worked well for me. I have grilled chipotle style chicken which came out excellent. I also made pasta assassina which also worked better in cast iron than stainless steel. It retains heat very well and heats very evenly. While I’m used to cooking in pans with handles that don’t get hot, the weight of the pan is such that you don’t need to hold it to keep it still while stirring. Cleaning, or not, as it were, is still taking some getting used to, but I’ve found YouTube helpful as usual in cleaning/seasoning my new pan. So far so good. I would have sprung for a 14” pan in hindsight, but this is working out.

There's nothing to dislike about this skillet. Heavy, well built and holds heat extremely well. Will use it mostly for live fire cooking.

I’m past the return date. I have tried over and over to get this so it does not stick. It is supposed to be pre-seasoned but the first thing I cooked with lots of oil, got stuck to the pan. I then seasoned it myself 2 times and still everything sticks. Very rough surface in it doesn’t help with the cleaning of it eithr. I have had a cast iron skillit before that I loved. Buyer beware of this one.

Excelente tamaño (nota: es pesado, no es para cualquier usuario). Si se tienen los cuidados adecuados no pega, calienta de manera uniforme, lo uso tanto en estufa, asador y horno. Ojo: No es para cualquier usuario ya que requiere ciertos cuidados pero bien valen la pena esos cuidados para un funcionamiento excelente y cocinar con un mínimo o casi nada de aceite u otro engrasante.

Me gusto el tamaño y el precio.el peso del sarten tambien dice mucho.lo voleria a comprar
