Save the Post!!
I just finished doing some fence repair that included replacing a leaning post and the two sections of fence on either side of it and reinforcing a few posts with this product. This product is SO MUCH easier (and cheaper) than replacing a post and fencing! I have just ordered another set of four stakes to reinforce a few more posts on my property, and I look forward to installing them. It sure beats the alternative! My posts are set in concrete, so I screwed a 2x4 block to the base of the posts before installing the metal stakes. This block acts as a spacer to keep the stake away from the concrete, and it stiffens the 4x4 post a bit. I found it important to ensure my posts were plumb before installing these stakes. Once plumb, bracing the fence post made installation much easier, and I used a wood block between the stake and my sledgehammer to avoid damaging the metal stakes. The kit includes lag bolts, a drill bit for pilot holes, and a driver for the lag bolts—very convenient! Once the lag bolts were tight, my fence posts were very, very sturdy. As I mentioned, I have ordered another set of four stakes to do some more fence repair, and I'll take that work any day over a post and fence replacement. Good luck with your fence work!

Easy to install
These work pretty good. The fence at my parent’s house had a few sections that were leaning.I was looking for a solution to fix them, but most of the options I found required pouring concrete into a post hole.I finally came across these and ordered two to try. I was able to install 2 of them by myself in about 15-20 minutes. I used a rubber mallet to drive them into the ground. They seem pretty sturdy, even in the sandy Florida dirt.I like that they include the drill bits you need to pre-drill the holes, and also the drill bit that allows you to screw in the bolts/screws.I liked these so much, and how simple they were to install, that I ordered 4 more so that I can repair another section of my parent’s fence. Highly recommend!

Fixed my leaning fence
The story is too long to tell about the origin of the fence issue, but we fixed it. The post was in bad shape but with some repair material added to support the post itself, and the addition of this stake (17 inches in the 8 inch concrete form, the fence is nice and sturdy once again. Very satisfied with the end result.Everything came delivered as described in the ad.

Works great
Like I said works great, but I think it should be just a little bit stronger. If it was just a little bit thicker steel it would be a little more stable. Overall though it’s a good concept.thank you

Junkie made in China bolt heads break off.
First off, for anyone buying this product, double check to make sure there are no concrete footings just below the surface. At times they may be sunk deeply into the ground, so slide a sharp dowel down through the soil where you plan on driving The anchor in. This is a problem we ran into and so we had to instead put the anchor on the end of the fence line taking away a great deal of the kickstand stability this item was supposed to provide in the first place. We decided some stability would be better than nothing. We then drove the spike down into the ground, keeping it snug to the fence itself. Then we went ahead and drilled holes for the bolts, but as we were driving in the middle, the head broke off before it could even be tightened. Mind you the drill hole was not too snug nor was there too much torque applied to the screw head. It simply just snapped off as you will see in the picture with no way for us to remove it , or make a correction. That we were left with only 2 bolts to stabilize the fence to the metal spike with nothing to be done for the Center bolt. We paid a great deal of money for this metal piece of spike. It is marketed as a heavy duty tool that will do a heavy duty job. We felt it was worth the investment. Had we known the screws would have been, so trashy we would’ve went to the store ahead of time and bought screws that were sufficient for the job. We delayed and using this item so it was too late to return it as we absolutely would’ve due to the shotty screws. There is no way we could be the only people that had this problem with the screws they provide. I would think long and hard before buying this item as I wonder now about the quality of the metal support itself? If you should decide to buy it be sure to buy your own screws so you don’t end up in a predicament we found ourselves in. Because of the lack of quality screws or rather bolts that are obviously essential to making this item work correctly we gave this product a very rare one star.

Save the fence with these
Our expensive fence was starting to lean, I ordered these and took us about 20 minutes to install to brace the posted and straighten the fence. I can’t even imagine how much it would have cost to have the fence company come back out. It’s helpful to have a second person if fence leaning to push up while you secure. Well worth the money and extends the investment in the fencing.

Works great !
Used these to support a sagging fence between houses. Hammered in after a rain storm on clay soil. Fence hasn't moved since we attached them a month ago . Many wind storms . Kind of a wind tunnel between house. Friends have ordered more since and agree they are great !!

Sturdy support
So bought this to avoid costly process of getting someone to come and change a rotten fence post. The fence was installed with a drive down anchor - so I couldn’t use the straight flat cheaper alternatives. The price of this isn’t amazing - but it’s cheaper than getting someone over to fix the post and the fastest way to fix the problem. One thing to note is it’s quite a task getting the reinforcement into the ground. You can’t just bash it in like instructions as no ground is ever that soft. So you have to be prepared to dig down 40cm. I’d recommend getting some digging gloves for that. I only had my normal hand and a knife to dislodge soil. Next the steel once driven in didn’t perfect go against the fence post - so I added some extra wooden brackets which is fine, you can’t see in image but space was tight in my case as had concrete slab right in front of fence post. Overall though I’m of the conclusion this was the most cost effective fix and the fence is super sturdy now.

Solid post repair
It really makes the post sturdy and once you drive it all the way in the ground you can see it's not flexing. Really happy that it has the length to drive down some others seem a few inches shorter which I question.
