I like it. I have tried some different types of jerky and they are usually too salty and I am just not crazy about them. This is not nearly so salty, just very straightforward flavor. Very convenient high protein snack.

I love it!! Biltong and jerky in general is something that’s always easy for me to eat. It’s well seasoned but doesn’t over power the taste of the meat. And I LOVE the marbling in almost every piece. The only complaint I have is the price, so this is more so a treat. Stryve is a little more affordable and tasty in a different way. Still highly recommend both!

I'm so sad to leave this review, I've ordered biltong from Bledie Lekker many times and have always loved their biltong. This time it did not come in the black bag but in a clear bag, and honestly tastes like it has been smoked instead of air dried. I've made a lot of biltong myself, and this is just not biltong. It tastes like jerky. Shame, shame! I'm only posting this to ask Bledie Lekker to please keep their biltong true, Karoo biltong like they advertise. I could cry big ol' tears for having to return this and not having a whole lb of delicious biltong to consume right now!

I've been ordering Bleddie Lekker biltong and droerwors from the store, for years now. However, the recent orders have NOT tasted good at all. both the wors and the tong. I agree with James H. that quality control should be implemented for consistency. You just don't know what you will get when you order it. When it's made right, it tastes delicious. When it's not, it has to be thrown out immediately. I grew up eating this stuff so I know how it's supposed to taste. I don't have time to make it myself or I would. But this is very tasty when made correctly. Sometimes they go heavy on the spices. This last batch was fatty. I ordered lean beef biltong which you can also order directly from their site. But it comes much faster when ordered on Amazon. Please get the recipe consistent and those of us from home will continue to support your business.

Once you taste this, it will be a staple in your household. It's perfection as far as South African Biltong goes. Pity its just 1lb, it goes like the express lane at the NYC metro. Its one of those things like Lays chips where you can't just eat one, nor one handful, nor one bowl full. Once you start, you cannot stop until its done.

Hi - I don’t know how to contact you directly, but I really enjoyed the first packet I received. The taste was great and it was fresh and moist. The two subsequent packets I have bought have been very dry and somewhat stale. This is really disappointing.
