I bought these to stabilize my feet in Converse tennis shoes due to my osteoarthritis. I have custom insoles but they are way too big for small sneakers. I pulled up the natural insole of the shoe and slipped the carbon insole underneath, then replaced the insole. In a Converse, there’s enough glue that it seals right up and holds the carbon insole in place. It’s not too easy to switch the carbon insole to other shoes because of the glue under the natural Converse insole. The carbon insole prevents the knuckle of my big toe from bending while I walk. They are comfortable and easy to use. Good quality material. They are true to size, possibly a little on the small side.

I have arthritis in my feet. My podiatrist basically, prescribed these insoles to help keep my feet from bending too much and irritating the joints while I'm out walking. They are made from a carbon fiber, and are somewhat stiff, which is what I needed. They do take some getting used to, but it only took me a couple of days to get used to them. They fit easily into my shoes under the regular insole and are true to size. I've had mine for about two months now. I put in about 2-3 miles of walking per day on them and so far, they are still holding up really well. My only complaint is they are a little bit spendy, but if I had to get actual prescription insoles, it would be far more. They come in a single pack, so if you need two, one for each foot, you will need to buy two packages.

My podiatrist recommended these and I was eager to try some thing for the arthritis in my big toe and side of my foot. As soon as I put them on, I felt a difference, but I absolutely could not stand the squeaking noise. I did some research as to what some other people have done to stop the squeaking in their insoles, but I found something that works so I feel that I need to share it! Duck taping both sides of the insert solved the squeaking problem (image attached), and I am so glad that I did this. Other than the noise, I would definitely recommend these inserts.

Recommended by my foot doctor and it works very well. Have 2 sets to use in multiple shoes. Well worth the cost.

The stiffness is desirable. However, I do not have any shoes that are "totally flat - 180 Degrees". I have good walking shoes, but they all have a footbed with slight topographical curves. Thus, the insert hovers over the shoe insole and there is space between the product and the insole. Thus when you walk your foot moves up and down and that causes pain in the big toe joint. I do not get how others were able to get a favorable experience using this product. I weigh 95 lbs and thought perhaps one has to be heavier to push the insert down but my husband tried them in his flat Adidas sneakers (he weighs 155) same problem. I do not recommend this product.
