This is the 4th of this type that I bought (keep forgetting them in rented cars). It worked for all cars I tried so far, is simple and inexpensive. But it prevents you from opening/closing/changing the direction of the air flow, so if you absolutely need to control the air flow through that vent, get some other holder.

This is a nifty item. Especially for the price. If you want a cell phone holder and can afford a little less air from one vent then this is totally for you!It held stability wise, without squeaking or dropping the phone. I loved that I could charge my phone while it was on this and that my case made no difference. It worked with droid and iPhone no others were available for testing.I did remove 1 star because it lines up directly with power button and volume button on the iPhone 15 pro. Tho I woukd mount the phone a tad loosely and it still never dropped my phone.One touch button release, two finger and hover hold to settle in, honestly it’s the fastest phone holder I’ve used. I am very happy with this item. It was a good price, easy to install, and looks nice. I have a bigger/thicker phone case and it works perfectly. I can adjust it in all directions and had no issues using my car vent to hold the device.

This looks like it’s going to be the best one I’ve owned. Feels durable and sturdy. The clip that holds the vent piece has an adjustment mechanism that gives you the ability to hold it tighter to the vent. I like that. And it spreads far for thicker phone cases like my otter box mock.

Hard to twist and secure in place. My phone wallet is super slim but doesn’t fit securely without having to be removed. The mount is also stiff. Decent for the price, but a pricier upgrade may be better than this purchase. Time will tell.
