Need to protect a wound whilst showering? You need one of these
Pros:Made of high quality plastic. It has a very tight seal and allows you to keep your wound dry and safe.Observations:Some users reviewed that they couldn't get the seal over a cast. I can see that being tricky. The access hole is tight by deign to keep water out. I was lucky I had a bandaged forearm and no cast. You might rupture the seal if you are using this with a cast.Above all these are not made to use whilst having a bath. You need to plan how and for how long you will shower when using this product and it'll serve you well.If you wear this for too long, you may start to cut off blood supply so be sensible and try to wear around muscle areas so the seal doesn't pinch your skin.

Tight to the point of pain but lol funny
Very tight fitting, to the point of being very painful. I put it on with great difficulty because it barely fit over my cast. Once in the shower it inflated and became almost balloon like, it was hilarious putting shampoo on it and smearing it on my head before actually washing my hair.I had to dry and dress myself still wearing it because I couldn't pull it back over my cast. It took both my daughters hands and my good one to get it off.The single funniest thing I've ever put on, the sorest thing I've ever had on and the hardest to get off ever......My cast was dry but I'm dreading tomorrow's shower

Ingenious contraption
I don't write reviews unless I can give a product 5 stars. The best thing about this product is the clever seal that stops water getting in. I found the hand a little too large but I was only using it to cover a small wrist and thumb splint and I accept that it would have to be that big for use with a proper cast. Anyway, it meant that I could take a shower and wash my hair at last, without the excruciating pain caused by removing the splint. Best contraption of its kind that I have found.

Well made bit not easy to use.
This is a very well made item, but the rubber ring is so tight that the person using it found it impossible to put on with one hand, especially with a cast on the hand being protected. The plastic ring is also very large. We decided it would work better by cutting off the ring completely and using an ordinary rubber band. Used like this it is marginally better than using a plastic bag.

This would have negative stars were it possible.
So painful to put on that I had to go to a&e for an xray to be sure that I had not damaged the implants in my wrist. a&e had to cut the thing off me because my circulation had been cut off completely. Do not buy this ill-conceived heap of junk under any circumstances.

Does this work for broken wrist? Not for us
I have scored this a 3 but in fact my mother in-law was unable to use it at all so probably deserves a 1. The main issue is this; when you have a broken hand, wrist or arm you are simply unable to get your hand through the tight rubber seal without causing severe pain, this product would be impossible to get on by yourself. Feel free to purchase this I am sure some people love it...but we wasted our money when we thought it would solve a problem

Absolutely fantastic! Not only allowed my wife - two broken wrists - to shower whilst protecting her casts, but also enjoy a hot tub break (no pun intended) as she was able to partake of a few glasses of wine whilst basking in the tub!Excellent seller, excellent product
