Purchased for a friends mother who has sight restrictions. This is a useful product, make sure you fit it to the right shape of plate as could ping off. Lady is more than happy with this, it helps to keep the food on the plate and enables her to capture the food on her cutlery. Washable and durable. Might stain if tomato based/coloured foods come into contact with the plastic. But you can always have two if it bothers you. My friend and her mum are very pleased with this item. Thank you Amazon

Brilliant idea. I have ordered this before and ordered a second for another family member. It really helps my son who is blind as it stops his food getting pushed off the side of his plate when he is eating. Easy to fit, easy to wash and easy to transport for eating out. Would recommend and definitely will be buying more. In fact I need to do that right now ready for Christmas!!

My wife is blind and pushes food off her plate so this is ideal as positioned correctly it prevents this. Could do with a slightly larger diameter as fits side plates and smaller dinner plate, but not outr main plates. It does work well and I would recommend.

These fit a remarkably wide range of plates both modern and traditional. They really do stop accidental spillages and aid loading food onto spoons and forks. They wash easily.

This plate guard does do the job but is absurdly overpriced, not unusual for aids for the disabled. I have two sets of normal size dinner plates but it felt at the limit of its stretch round both of them and would most likely break sooner rather than later. I have subsequently bought some china coupe pasta plates from my local supermarket @ £2.75 each which perform just as well whilst being long lasting and multi-use. Can't send it back. Boot fair fodder @ 50p.

This product so useful for my husband who has only use of one hand. Makes eating food I have cut up small much easier.
