Amazing Studio Strobe! Perfect Power/ Features for photo booth
The Godox SK400II is hands-down one of the best values in studio lighting! I have paid more and got less with other brands. It delivers a strong 400Ws of power with fast recycle times and consistent color output — perfect for portraits, products, and creative setups. The built-in 150W modeling light is bright and adjustable, making it easy to preview your lighting before every shot. I love that it has a built-in 2.4GHz wireless receiver, which syncs effortlessly with Godox X-series transmitters for remote power and modeling light control. The Bowens mount is rock solid and works with tons of modifiers, and the quiet cooling fan keeps everything running smoothly during long sessions. The build quality feels professional, the LCD screen is clear, and setup is quick and intuitive. For the price, you simply can’t beat the performance and reliability of this light. #highlyRecommend

Nice improvement from the first generation of SK400
I recently bought the Godox SK400ii studio light for a photography project, i also have the first generation of Godox SK400, and here are my thoughts after using it, paired with Nikon z7ii. Build Quality: The SK400ii is built like a tank, although it's inexpensive. The build quality is not bad at all. Despite some plastic components, they're designed to withstand high temperatures, ensuring long-lasting durability. It also comes with two backup fuses. User-Friendly Controls: The navigation menu is simple and straightforward. If you are using other godox product or any studio light, you should be able to work with it right away. It's user-friendly, enabling quick adjustments during shoots. buttons and rotary dial also feel smooth and responsive. One notable feature is the auto preflash functionality, effortlessly syncing with cameras equipped with preflash firing systems. You can also utilize the Xpro-N or flashpoint or godox protocol for wireless triggering. Plus, the customizable recycle time (0.4 to 2 seconds) is a lifesaver in fast-paced studios, preventing overheating. Cooling: The built-in cooling fan is not very loud and it activated around about 10 minutes of use. You can barely notice the sound. In short, the Godox SK400ii is a solid choice in the studio lighting market, representing the second generation of the SK400 series with significant improvements, particularly in cooling. I highly recommend considering the SK400ii. It's an affordable addition to any studio setup, offering exceptional performance and reliability.

Great light
Really durable. Works great. Has lots of channels and modes. I love the option for a fill light without the old giant bulbs. It’s easy to take apart and put together on a light stick. Making portability fast and efficient

Light not working
Stopped working right now. The flash won't go, don't know what's wrong with it. Only got in in February and used it about 5 times. Good light tho, I js don't know what's wrong.

Good, solid light
This light, SK400II-V works perfect! I tried to find any reviews about it before buying, but didn’t find it. So decided to give a try. I already have godox ad200 and 600 batteries operated and needed additional light for studio. What I like is this light is not heavy, still fast recycle time and not expensive at all for such a powerful strobe. It will work wonderfully for a beginner studio photographer or a pro. You will need a trigger though - good or flashpoint would work.
