Great for serving dinner, durable trays, easy to grip/carry
These trays are pretty nice and simple in design so it works great for every day use. You can use it as a serving tray to for dinner or snacks for guest. It is pretty easy to grip and the tray is durable so I do not expect them to break easily even after a ton of use. This is dishwasher and microwave safe although it is a pretty large serving try so I am unsure if it will fit in most house hold microwaves. You can place plenty of things on it. What I find appealing about this is how durable and simple it is. I can use it pretty much every day. It also great for storing food on overnight. Short of dropping these, it should not crack or break. It is also very easy to clean. Overall these serving trays in my opinion is pretty good for every day use. They have a simple look but work great for events as well. It has plenty of space for ton of food.

Very versatile
Mikasa Delray Chip Resistant Set of 2 Platter Serving Tray, 12 and 15 inch, WhiteThis set of two rectangular bone china serving pieces are a very versatile addition to any dinnerware. They are sturdy, but not heavy and have edges that are high enough to keep foods from sliding off. The smaller is 12” X 5” and the larger is 15” X 6”. The trays are microwave safe and dishwasher safe. According to the manufacturer, they are also oven safe, but the information does not mention at what temperature. I have a similarly shaped set of small dishes that we use for sushi and these will be perfect for setting out the choices. I really do like them, but the price tag for just two of them is a bit high.

TOO THIN?
I think this is one of those reviews I will have to update over time, because right now I'm just not totally certain how I feel about these. I can only go off my initial opinion, and that is that so far they are really nice, very clean looking, and wash and dry well. I like them. But there's a line between them being "lightweight" and being too thin, and I'm not sure where these stand in that regard. Will they break easily? I don't know. Only time will really tell me that. If that ends up being the case, I will update my review. The only other thing I will say is that these seem to be a bit on the expensive side, in my opinion (they are currently $46.40). I feel like these should maybe be 2/3 that price. If these hold up well over time, they may be worth it.

no good
Quality of the plates is not good. They are uneven and teeter, totter on the table and when you look at the base, have a arch in the center of it when it should be flat poor quality control.

Does not sit flat on surfaces
I wanted to add these to my Mikasa Delray dishes but one of them is not flat and wobbles. Annoying when it won't sit flat on a hard countertop and just terrible quality control.

Elegant and beautiful
It's a white rectangular serving tray, how different could this possibly be from other white rectangular serving trays? Well, quite a bit different actually. I don't know how Mikasa does it - but this set is just so elegant and beautiful that you can't help but notice. The quality is through the roof and this will make your table stand out. These are perfect for serving bread or tappa's or Hors d'oeuvre's on. Maybe for cheese and cold-cuts. The larger one is perfect for pizza al taglio. Whatever you put on these - it's guaranteed to make it look appealing and delicious. This tray set might be a bit more expensive than something that appears to be similar, but these are well worth the money.

Beautiful Mikasa Serving Trays
This set of two Mikasa Delray chip-resistant serving platters/trays are nicely finished and arrived well-packed in the manufacture's sturdy cardboard box with no damage. The trays have a nice appearance, and aren't as thick as I expected, giving them a more elegant appearance. For $49.55, you get the set of two, or about $25 each. For the quality, I'd say this is a fair price. One is 15-inches long, and the other 12-inches. They stack nicely! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Rectangle shaped platters
Nicely finished white ceramic but nothing remarkable in the design or quality. In act, the larger platter doesn't even sit flat on my counter - it wobbles. Seem fragile even for occasional use. Disappointing items.
