Cookology CIP613 Plug-in Induction Hob | 60cm, Black, Built-in, 13 Amp

Purchased this as we needed a new hob quickly our other one packed up it was over 4 years old. Anyway this was a good price with 13 amp plug so ideal for us. 1st one came we set it up plugged it in and it never worked it was faulty! I requested a return and refund but the company contacted me and arranged for a next day pick up of the faulty one and delivery of a new one. Was very impressed with the customer service extremely helpful so we gave it a go. Next one worked perfectly pretty basic hob but does exactly what we need worth it for a cheaper hob. Cannot fault the customer service!

Very pleased with this induction hob in most respects. Just plug in and cook! It's as fast and responsive as my old gas hob with fool proof instructions. If I can use it, then anybody can. Cleans extremely easily (I use window cleaner to finish off as its Glass) and really looks the part in my slightly dated kitchen. Be aware that your pans will need replacing if they do not have magnetic bases, as this is Induction using magnetism to generate heat! Remove a pan from the hob and the hob will detect that no more cooking power is required. What the advert does not state clearly, is the need to create an enclosed heat dissipation area beneath the hob, around 2 inches deep. So if it is being installed above a draw area, you will lose the draw capacity unless you can modify them, as I did. Bad news and extra expense if you don't have good DIY skills! Work-wise it performs really well !

Perfect replacement for the gas hub . same measurements and on the 13 amp socket . plug and play pretty much. Worth it!

I was very surprised how much we liked this, it is by far one of the cheaper options as hobs go but the quality doesn't suffer for it. A great bit a kit!

It saw very hard to use especially as the panset i have had for years can't be used on it. the hob itself was value for money but not in the respect I had to change all my pan's

The temperature on the individual cooking pots used stay under the pot., there is no wasted heat.

Only been iso.g it for a say jut bottom line, it's fine, easy to install and great value for money.Only down side, you can't use smaller pans. I would guess 8" is probably the smallest.It it had a smaller ring it would have been 10/10.
