top notch
received in good shape. satin finish uniform, and smooth, no jagged edges, or burrs. jaws have a good bite, (don't slip ) fit generally symmetrical, centered, and square with each other. and has a good balance. Rigid is well designed, and historically very durable and reliable. I think this mini 6 in. will do the same. its a life time purchase. Very Pricey, USA made. I have seen and used much lower price, and quality, which you will regret once you purchase a el-cheepo. Some comments in this review say thumb wheel and jaws fit sloppy... maybe so, but I disagree, as its a pipe wrench, designed for self centering clamping action, and when I have used it for a variety of plumbing, automotive, industrial jobs, it always worked perfectly for me. its not designed to withstand a 2 ft. cheater bar. its for those hard to reach, confined area's of lower torque, where no other wrench will grab or fit. I purchased several, for myself , and grandkids. . I recommend... retired automotive engineer...

Wasn't sure what to make of it but know I like it
I'll be honest off the bat and confess that I bought this without noting the size. It was quite a shock when the tiny tool arrived. At least my wife got a kick out of how cute it was. It's closer to 5" than 6. We imagined little elves using it on little elf machines. Apparently, this has legitimate uses, so who am I to judge?I also screwed up by ordering a pipe wrench when what I really want is something with parallel jaws for grabbing bolts and whatnot. What I will say is that I was looking for a top-quality wrench, and I see I got the brand right, at least. This tiny little thing had serious heft to it! And having an adjuster with some nice grip and smooth action to it makes all the difference. When I looked again at other automotive wrenches to find something more appropriate, I noted they all had those lousy worm gear style adjusters, even pricier options. Only Ridgid had something (they call it a "spud wrench") that suited me.All in all, what do I know? I never even used this one - don't even know what it's for. Small pipes, I guess? But I'm telling you, it's one of those tools, where you feel it and immediately know how good it is. How it will last a lifetime. Beautiful, too. Even without having a use for it, I was tempted to keep it. So if you do work on tiny little pipes or tiny elf machines, I doubt you could go wrong with this wrench.

Little wrench for a big job
I do oil field work and I’m always working with different types of wrenches for different size bolts. I bought this little wrench for smaller bolts that get stripped out. It does the job I need it to do and saves time and money. Is really worth the money.

Tiny, but mighty
I have to admit, I didn’t do much research on this pipe wrench before I purchased. I needed to remove a shower arm from the wall, none of my other wrenches were gripping it, and this was the least expensive thing I could find in my five-minute, impatient search. Fast forward two days and the first thing I said when I pulled it out of the box was “aww, it’s so cute!” to the amusement of my husband. It’s probably 4-5” long. But this little guy packs a punch! The grip is so good, it took out my shower arm instantly, out-competing my regular wrenches that are three times its length. Highly recommend, just know that it’s TINY before you buy.

very handy
Your gonna want this in your toolbox. Works great to remove a broken screw or bolt. Maybe even use it for its intended purpose on small pipes. Doesnt take up a lot of room and your buddys will want to borrow it when they see how handy this is
