This helped my muscle aches BUT you need to be careful how much you use. I guess I rolled on too much and it burned the area! I don't leave a lasting mark once I got it all washed off but it wanted.

I tried this on a small patch of skin since I knew it could cause an intense burning sensation. After several hours I didn’t feel anything, so I applied more and massaged it in, as the instructions say to do. I thoroughly washed my hands afterward. However, I rubbed my eye a while later and it BURNED! I washed my hands over and over and for at least 1-2 days my fingers would make my eyes burn if I rubbed them. I continued to just roll the product on my knees but didn’t massage the stuff in. Then about 4 days after doing this my knees began to BURN! By then I forgot that this could cause burning sensation on my skin and thought my arthritis was out of control. The burning just got worse and worse and I almost went to the ER. Then I remembered this could cause a latent burning effect where it was applied and used warm water and soap to wash it off. It helped take the edge off but even after another day of showering and specifically washing my knees with warm water and soap, there is still a burning sensation. It’s worse if I put a blanket over my knees. The product never helped my pain either so it’s headed to the garbage. Beware of the burning and do whatever you can not to touch it!!!!

For me, it does not provide instant relief. But, if I apply it every day, it keeps the carpal tunnel away. I have been using this type of product for over 10 years. It does not feel warm or hot when I put it on. Your skin will be more sensitive when you run it under warm water. Not painfully sensitive, but you will notice it. When comparing products with Capsaicin, pay attention to the percentage. This is 0.1%, and is the highest I could find (CVS used to sell a product with 0.15% potency, but they no longer make it). I saw other products out there with 1/4 the potency but the same price per ounce. For this type of product, get the roll on ONLY, not something that you rub on with your hands. You do not want to get it on your fingers and then inadvertently rub your eyes afterwords (or other sensitive body parts, if you know what I mean). Typical hand washing will not get rid of the residue from a cream.

This is a mild solution... Next time I will a different brand @ .1% NOT .025

After two days I definitely notice less pain. The roll on applicator is great so you dont accidently get the medicine in your eyes. I felt an on and off slight burning sensation but it was very bearable. My understanding is over time (approx 2 weeks) the burning sensation goes away. Recommend trying if you want to stay away from the NSAID drugs.

I’ve used this for months, only on my back. It’s not a pain killer, it’s more of a distraction but it works well for me. A bottle lasts seemingly forever and I already ordered more. Wash your hands after application, its no fun getting this in your eyes.

This product is stronger than the last brand we had. This caused severe pain and burning on the areas that it was applied for over 24 hours, to the point that I was unable to sleep. Am I maybe more sensitive than someone else? Maybe. I would not recommend it or definitely recommend trying it in a very small area before applying to a large area. I will not buy this brand or strength again.

It’s very good but it burns if you are hot or bathing in hot water. Do not use an heating pad.
