We requested a replacement of the first idli maker because we could not open the lid.The delivery of the second one was prompt but again we were not able to open the lid.This has caused us a lot of difficulty. If we request another replacement, we may have the same problem again.We ordered Pigeon brand because we know that it is a reputed brand.lt would be good if each item is checked thoroughly before it is transported for delivery to customers.

So compact but looking good.Felt little weight less.

The build quality is excellent—sturdy, durable, and made of good-quality stainless steel.

At first I was happy with this product as it’s compact, cooks faster and there is whistle to it. Later I. realized the lid doesn’t open with pressure inside it and if you try to open holding the lid knob it came off and it’s tiny screw got lost even the idli plates become wonky if the base screw and stand loosen up. So it’s too much of work in washing and keeping the screws intact

Why did you pick this product vs others?:The item is defective, and when I raised a request to return the item, no one came to collect it.Total waste of my money.I suggest that you please do not buy from this seller on Amazon.

The media could not be loaded. Expected a level of quality from this reputed brand, but there is no quality.The cooker is made of reasonably good stainless steel.The lid has a feather light whistle as seen in milk cookers. But it will not fit tight. So the whistle will be blown off by steam.The bottom has no induction stove compatibility fitting as specified.Flimsy idly trays, especially the bottom tray on which we fix the centre rod. The trays will not occupy the centre of the cooker, so will hit the lid when we close and open.The cooker comes in a dismantled condition. So basic knowledge to fit the top Knob and side handles using screw driver is necessary
