Low Scent. Easy to use. Good size. Not too thick but leaves the perfect shine. Effective on restoring leather items.

Great product in the arsenal of leather supplies
I like this product because some of my projects it really softened up the leather. Soaks in very well. I usually used neetsfoot oil otherwise. Been dabbling with other products too for things that I want less oily, like upholstery, so I tried leather honey on those with good results, even though that doesn't soak in the same, it leaves a nice finish. Better than the bag balm I used to use. Newer, fast chrome tanned leather doesn't have the same results as things I had built with vegetable tanned leather, or other old processes used. In the older leather stuff I had around, like clothing, motorcycle jackets, sheaths, etc, this product is great. Really soaks in and makes things pliable again. Don't recommend on anything like belts, had one stretch after using it. I used that first step spray able saddle soap too, and I really liked that stuff too, because it was easier to use than the old tins of saddle soap, and different than soapy water which shrinks or hardens leather.

Great Product for Restoring Leather Goods.
Farnam Leather New has proven to be an effective product for cleaning and restoring older saddles and riding tack. It makes quick work of years of grime. We have also used it on winter boots with good results.

Good product. Took a very old dried out and rock hard leather guitar strap and made it very supple again. It did darken the leather, but I actually liked the darker color better than before. Don't put too much!
