The clips worked perfectly for a cage I built out of chicken wire over my outdoor planter. I made a flap out of the chicken wire and used the clips to attach it.My wife saw the clips and took several of them to use in the pantry. They are great to use for opened potato chips or bags of cereal. Considering the price vs. the price for the clips you purchase for the kitchen, they are a great deal.

The clamping strength is surprisingly slight. But maybe I should've known what based on its size. Don't use this if you're looking to hold down something under a slight wind -- it doesn't grip that strongly.
