Replaced the blower fan in my 3d printer (elegoo centauri Carbon) and this is much quieter. Was a simple plug aland drop in replacement.

Not sure why the manufacturer has a guide telling us we need to switch the wires around when the blower vent duct and arrow shows blowing out not into the vent and out the main larger suck circle opening. My default this should be the correct configuration where we shouldn't have to make the changes. It easy if you have the correct sharp pointy object. Just yhe ball point tip was not sharp enough to remove the copper connectors bear wires and swipe them around. I honestly don't think many applications would use it as is. I use my to replace my old humidifier bad fan that the fan blades spin out of the motor axle rod.

I bought this to use with a 3D printer. Hooked it up and at the first start up made a squeaking noise which i thought may just need to been worn in from initial assembly. The noise hasn't gone away and a replacement has been ordered. Since then I had a print going on the machine for about an hour and then smelled Electronics burning. After further investigation I realized the fan stopped spinning and the coil started to burn up!! This could have been a fire hazard if I weren't nearby... not including the damage from the heat rising through the printer... A refund was issued by seller. Giving 3 stars for taking care of issue.

I bought this to replace an identically rated fan in a humidifier. Speed, volts, amps, decibels. It's much louder than the fan it is replacing. The old one was completely silent on low. This new one is as loud on low as the old one was on high.

Fans initially appeared to be good quality, moved lots of air and were quiet. After a few weeks of operation both units I purchased started buzzing/vibrating badly and could not reach full speed. Upon inspection both fans had leaked/blown their internal lubrication out all over the place. These fans have sleeve bearings rather than ball bearings so without the lubricant they failed quickly. Very disappointed.
