Very easy to light and long lasting

I always use Match light charcoal. It's easy to get a fire started for grilling. No lighter fluid needed. BBQ always turns out great. The price is great. Why buy anything else. I definitely recommend this charcoal. It's the best!

Exactly what I ordered. Quick light charcoal.

The reason I bought this is so I could light the charcoal and get it started easily. It works!!! But at a cost. The chemical to start it easily is smelly and noticeable when lighting it. It is no different than soaking regular charcoal in charcoal starting liquid you can purchase separately and then pour on the charcoal. I was hoping for a easy self start charcoal without the chemical. Just as using the liquid you must let this charcoal burn down to eliminate the chemical taste on the food. On the plus side it does what it says it does and self starts easily and if you want to eliminate the pouring on of starting liquid it eliminates that step too. The charcoals burns as expected and is good Kingsford quality. I would give it five starts if it were not for the noticeable smell.....so far I have not tasted the chemical on any food but I let it start and burn for a while before cooking AND I use other charcoal that is not self start without the chemical to stoke the fire while cooking.
