California Costumes Child Honest Abe Beard

When our son told us that he wanted to be Abraham Lincoln for Halloween, we were a bit concerned that we wouldn't be able to find a costume for him. Amazon saved the day again with this product! The costume fit perfectly and he was so excited for Halloween to come. Needless to say, he was the only Abe Lincoln in the whole school! While trick or treating, several adults complimented him on his authentic costume. He loves all things Abraham Lincoln and had so much fun with it. Thanks for making our little boy's Halloween wish come true!

The beard fits my 8 year old’s head perfectly. In a couple more years, I’m unsure if it will still fit him. It’s held up by two elastic bands that would loop behind your head. It’s NOT loops that would go behind your ears. My kid found it itchy so didn’t wear it too long. The beard looked good overall.

The jacket is great. The pants are long but easily hemmed up. But the top hat is very poor quality and doesn't quite stand up and mine has a hole in the stitching. I didn't return the costume because needed it quickly for a wax museum costume for 5th grade project.

I came to complain that the hat didn't come with the beard but then noticed I only ordered a beard. lol That said, I really dont have any complaints! The beard came in perfect condition. My son tried it on and it fit perfectly without my needing to use adhesive. The straps were more than enough so I recommend trying to use them on their own before anything else. I purchased this beard to complete an Abraham Lincoln costume for a Wax Museum project my son has tomorrow. A big thank you to the company! You're a lifesaver!

elastic strap is too short and won't even fit around my 2nd graders head and the small velcro patches are too small to secure in place. Rough stitching around the edges made it uncomfortable to wear. Was a waste of money as my child could not use the beard with his Abe Lincoln costume.

Excellent addition to his Abraham outfit!

We ordered this costume for my son's school project. I love that it came with the hat, shirt, jacket and pants. Buy the beard seperately. My son is a very slim size 8 and the Medium just fits. If your child is closer to a size 10, I would size up to the large. Overall, very happy with the costume.
