This bottle holds 32 oz. 33.8 oz = 1 liter

Q: The description says it's dishwasher safe on the top rack, but does it fit on the top rack easily?

The bottle is 8.25" tall, every dishwasher is different but it should fit most. Also, the top rack is only a recommendation, the bottle is fine in the bottom rack, just watch out for the loop top lid falling through the rack and touching the heating element. The lid can be removed from the bottle too. Thanks for your interest! Jim

Q: Can I put boiling water in this bottle?

Yes, but handle with caution. The bottle isn’t insulated. I often fill mine with boiling water so I can use it as a hot water bottle. I cut the sleeve off an old sweater and I slide the bottle into that before I fill it.
