These bags are ok; they serve their purpose, but I don't think they rise above many other dog poop bags available. On the plus side, the dark color hides what you're picking up. They have a good width that fits my large hand and I can fairly easily grab the dog deposit. On the minus side, the height of the bag is comparable to most other brands and the "handle" design is more of a nuisance than being helpful. Since the handle is cut out of the top of the bag, as opposed to being an extension to the bag, it takes away from the vertical room and when cleaning up after large dogs, you have to watch where the handle opening is to avoid getting a gift on your hand. The twist tie feature is really nothing to brag about. The bags come with a package of matching black twist ties; big deal. I have hundreds of twist ties around the house. If they wanted innovation, they should have designed the bag with a longer vertical and a tying mechanism attached to the bag. It's not particularly convenient to have to carry a bunch of bags and separate twist ties and then try to use them while holding a retractable leash.

Came by these bags after having some difficulty with the biodegradable ones, particularly being caught out in the rain or having to pick up my dog's business in the snow. They start to dissolve and droop, and if you're nowhere near a toilet you'll not be having a fun time holding poop in your hand. With these ones on hand I don't have to worry about the weather, and they're durable as well so no fear of the material tearing while picking up the mess. I have multiple dogs so the larger bag size is also a plus . All in all, I'd recommend these to the dog owners among my friends and family.

Shame on me for not reading the copy thoroughly. I was looking for a thick, dark bag such as they provide at dog parks. I often wind up carrying the full bag for quite a distance on long walks and I hate the flimsy "roll" bags. Yuck. These are thicker than those, but not the heavy duty (there is a pun right there- but I'm not doing it) bags I was hoping for. The real problem is, I did not realize these came with a twist tie for closure! They are much shorter than the average bag, so it is very difficult to tie the bag itself as is usually done. Who wants to add twist ties as an extra item to remember and carry? When I am picking up, I am already juggling dogs' leads and trying to get the bag open. I don't need to be fishing in my pocket for a twist tie, nor do I want to remove my gloves in the cold to be able to use them. I cannot see me ever using these. The waste here is my money.

I have seen bags that have a twist tie attached to the bags. Not these bags, ties are all separate. I take my dogs on fairly long walks and usually carry 6 bags with me. These bags are really small (10" from the hole to the bottom). If you leave enough room to tie the bag securely, with the tie that you hopefully haven't dropped, the bag is only 8"x8". My dogs aren't giant, Shiloh shepherds..100lbs. I need at least two bags per poop. VERY THIN. I read the reviews and I'm wondering if I received a different product. I tore a bag just trying to get it out of the box!

These bags are barely big enough for my beast's epic poos. The plastic is thin, and I worry about it not holding up. Not planning to buy this brand again.

The information on this product was right on and none of the bags has failed me. I did find the depth of the bag a little short for bigger hands. While the bags are very thin plastic, they are deceptively durable.

Works great. Bigger than average bags so less chance of getting hands messy. They do not dispense as easily from the box as shown on the product photo, so you usually end up pulling out more than you need and then taking more time to separate them. Opening is easy once you figure out to start separation by the handles (yes, they come with little cut out handle tabs). The box is big, so you won't be carrying it on your walks; you will have to pull out what you need ahead of time.
