As someone who runs a firewood business, this has become my primary saw, and it’s more than proven itself. Before writing this review, I’ve put it through its paces, processing at least six full cords of wood — and it hasn’t skipped a beat. The performance is consistent, the cuts are clean, and it handles larger logs with ease. I swapped out the standard 24” bar for a 28” bar, and the added reach has made a big difference when working with oversized rounds. Whether you’re in the business or just need a serious tool for heavy-duty cutting, the 460 Rancher is a top-tier choice. I absolutely love this saw and can confidently recommend it to anyone who needs power, performance, and durability in one rugged package.

This worked great, I have minimal experience with chainsaws, I owned an entry level one before. I was able to cut down trees with 12” trunks with no problem. I can’t believe how much easier it was compared to my old chain saw. I would highly recommend this chain saw, don’t bother with smaller or cheaper ones.

This saw is powerful, reliable , easy starting, vibration free and ultra smooth to operate. I am a land owner and use chainsaws regularly. After a viscous storm a neighbor and I were bucking downed oak and firs blocking access to our properties. He was running a husky 460 rancher i another top name brand saw I had been using for a few years. I noticed he was more productive and his machine seemed much easier to operate. To make this review shorter, I had a brief run with his Husky and promptly ordered one that same day. It is absolute awesome in every way. It has reduced my fatigue, improved productivity and increased the fun factor for this ol’ boy. I usually am skeptical about reviews but this is no BS. The Husqvarna 460 Rancher is the most user friendly saw ive experienced.

Such a great chainsaw and the price was good. Although it was shipped in the manufacturer box and came beat up. But they rectified the issue.

Excellent Chain Saw. Easy operation and very dependable

This chainsaw did not deliver on my expectations. The cutting chain overheated and bound up on the 1st cutting. After multiple chain binding/tear-downs to clean the oil supply port to the cutting bar, the chain came off and couldn’t be installed. The clutch now exhibits signs of overheating. As directed, I took it to an authorized Husqvarna warranty repair shop. After many months, the saw was returned with a new cutting chain. Upon my 1st use again on 11/1/25, the new cutting chain seized again. I checked that the oil pump was set to the maximum (it was), then cleaned the oil port on the cutting bar and checked for oil while running the saw - no evidence for oil was seen. I stopped the saw and returned to the repair shop on 11/3/25 - they went out of business on 10/31/25! I am requesting a full refund.
