I didn't think at 1st that these were really 1800 ...
I didn't think at 1st that these were really 1800 foot tapes but they are. Tapes come brand new never used. Note: only thing it doesn't come with is the leader. I bought leader for the tapes and splice the leader and tape together. (Open Reel Audio Leader Tape Kit Solid White 1/4" X 200 Ft With Splicing Tape for Maxell, RMGI, AMPEX, and ATR Tape TME PN ACLEADERKIT-A )

No complaints, Not using it for it's intended purpose so hard to say anything "glowing"

Very Poor Quality Tape
I was recording on some really old, used tape from the 70s before I got this and the quality was much better on the old tapes than this new tape. This new tape lowers output volume and has really bad hiss. It also broke when I was rewinding. The old tape from the 70s I've been using hasn't broken on me but this new tape did the day I took it out of the box. Do not buy!
