Very good quality product, it helps me get my room a bit warmer when I need it without turning the central heating on. It is small, light and looks stylish. very easy to use and move around the house. Very easy to store as well, which is very important for me as I am a bit of a minimalist and I don't like lots of things around the home; I prefer to store them if not in use. The price was very good and affordable for me. Greatly appreciate the product, it makes my life so much better and easier.

I thought that all the negative reviews on this couldn't be right so I stupidly went ahead and purchased it. On switching on everything seems fine - gets really hot and knocks on and off but being an electronic engineer I noticed something didn't sound quite right and noticed the unit had knocked off because it had gone into overheat and tripped the internal thermal cut out rather than turn off on the thermostat. The thermostat operation makes a definte 'click' when adjusting above and below it's set point but the internal safety cut out makes a much softer click and when activated you can't get the unit come back on even if you adjust the thermostat control to maximum until the cutout has cooled and reset. So to the untrained eye it the unit appear to operting correctly (heating up and turning off (albeit via the cut out!)) but continued operation of the saftey cutout will eventually lead to failure as it's only meant to be a backup in case of equipment failure - the thermostat is supposed to do all the switching - this may explain some of the reviews saying it only lasts six months. I even tried installing a diode in series with the heater element to halve the power (so it's only running at 400W) and although improved, the unit eventually still went into overheat mode rather than turn on/off via the thermostat. It's my professional opinion that this unit has a fundamental design flaw (oil/fin design / heating element?) and therefore is best avoided if you are looking for longevity in a product.

Only small but does the job

Used AI to research and choose this... It may be energy efficient however it only just about takes the edge off a small room it doesn't heat. Feels hot to touch but just not powerful enough to really radiate out. The first one arrived dented and damaged but returns were really simple and replaced the next day. Smooth process without any real questions asked. No noise, just clicks off to maintain a temperature. Easy to carry functional handle and compact design.

Loved it. It is small just as I wanted and working perfectly fine.
