Ordered a Mushkin Enhanced Gamma for use in my playstation 5. Drive arrived in simple packaging with no additional software, which wasn't a concern seeing as this was going into a game console.The drives insert was mis-marked Gen3 x4, apparently a printing mistake as the drive itself was correctly labeled Gen4.I paired this with a third party heat sink as required by Sony, and installation was a snap, with the Playstation 5 benchmark giving a read speed of ~6500gbs, which rivaled or exceeded some other more popular drives.

I bought this strictly to install into the PS5. Very easy to do (don’t forget your heat sink, I bought the MHQJRH M.2 2280 SSD heatsink, Double-Sided Heat Sink, with Thermal Silicone pad for PC / PS5 M.2 PCIE NVMe SSD or M.2 SATA SSD for $12)It works, and now my PS5 actually has space again to install more games.

Caught this on sale for $80 so o figured it was worth a try in the PS5. Works great, speeds are up to par. No complaints after a few months use

Installed the 2tb Mushkin Delta gen 4 drive into a third party heatsink (MHQJRH M.2 2280) and then into my PS5. Immediately recognized. Read speed just meets the recommendation. Moved digital games to storage right away. Quickly tested to make sure they start up and no issues. Good budget friendly option.

This product claimed to be PCIE Gen4 but a Gen3 drive arrived ... See photos . To return it now will be more than it's worth seeing I shipped this all the way to Barbados and doing so will cost me even more down time. Not sure if this was an isolated mixup with my unit or if this is a wider error. At any rate I am pretty dissatisfied.

Defective right out of the box. Installed inside PS5 and the system couldn’t see it. Then reset PS5 it saw it, reformatted it, then when first trying to save it disconnects from the PS5. Chinese Trash

As the manufacturer explained, a print error on the initial run of these SSD's showed PCIE Gen 3 on the packaging, these are in fact Gen 4 and it works perfectly in the PS5, there's zero difference in loading times between this and the onboard SSD. I was so impressed, I bought another for my desktop as I have an older, much slower Gen 3 in there now.There's absolutely zero reason to spend $400+ on a similar 2TB drive from Samsung, Seagate, etc, when this is perfectly adequate. For those wondering how they're selling these at half the cost of competing brands, the answer is in the NAND controller. In this case, they're using an older Phison E16 controller, whereas the Gamma version of this uses the Phison E18, which is why the version Gamma runs at around 7000MB/s rather than about 5600MB/s.Is faster better? Yeah, usually, but in this case, it's just not worth the extra money.

Compré la versión de 1TB y corre fantástico la he probado con juegos para PS5 como Returnal y Ghost of Tsushima y ni siquiera notas la diferencia con el disco del PS5, los tiempos de carga son casi idénticos, muy buen ssd y económico.PD hay un error en la impresión de la etiqueta dice que es pci gen 3, pero en realidad es gen 4

Llegó super rápido... la impresion dice gen 3 pero es gen 4... super económica... la instale en mi ps5 y cumple con los requerimientos.Muy buena compra.
