Great and inexpensive product

I can’t say enough good things about this gorgeous crate. Honestly, I wasn’t expecting much, but wow was I wrong! I bought it to hold several bottle of wine as a gift for Christmas and it’s perfect for the job as it’s super sturdy. I was surprised by the size considering the reasonable price and quality of the workmanship. The wood is beautifully finished with a dove grey paint, which has been applied impeccably. The rope handles are a lovely addition and I was so thrilled overall that I had to write this review! I wouldn’t hesitate to buy more in the future.

Very nice sturdy box, only problem was thought a slatted base, turns out it’s solid so can’t use outdoors as much as hoped, one more picture might be handy

So happy with this box. It had a French vintage vibe going on. Was perfect for my baby shower hamper. Nice size and it was deeper than I thought. Would definitely buy again

Good value & excellent quality

Absolutely beautiful, we have made a gaming snack crate for our son, perfect size to fit everything in and looks amazing can't wait to give it him.

First off the bat are they well made? Not particularly. Plenty of rough edges and overuse of glue in the joints leaving ugly dried leaks. Is the quality good? Not particularly. At best I suspect these are made from Paulownia wood, which is basically a little stronger than Balsa wood. The plywood bottom is 2.5mm, I know this as mine had popped out allowing me to measure it. This obviously brings us to, are they sturdy? Not particularly. Outside of the corners (which are basically just a double thickness of this balsa-like wood) and the bottom popping out of one of mine at best these could hold only light weight objects in my opinion. Certainly would not trust them to hold anything substantial or valuable. Are they worth the price? Not particularly. With the finishing quality and choice of materials, I’d be happier paying £8 to £10 each. Are the versatile? Not particularly. These simply are not robust enough to be used as anything else but for display. Size? Well you get what you order! One last thing, do they look good? Hooray! I can honestly say they don’t look too bad aesthetically as a display piece, although the staining is a bit hit or miss on the plywood bottom. Can I recommend? Not particularly. Fortunately I was in the market for some rough cheap wood for project so despite all the short falls I can at least break them down for what I want.

Purchased these for height and decoration for my grazing table , lovely rich colour , just has a flimsy base so can’t put anything heavy on top . Still very happy
