Love the intense flavour

Update! I called the company (#is on inside of the box) and the customer service was wonderful. They said that they thought they had fixed the problem. They send me a prepaid label to send my remaining pods back so that they could investigate and also mailed me a bunch of their other coffee. The taste is good if you can get them to brew! It would only brew half a shot before becoming just a little drip. Defective design I guess. I would love a refund since I now have 40 pods that I can’t really use!

Love these pods! This is exactly what I was looking for. I recently bought a small espresso machine to make preparing espresso quicker and easier for my husband and me. I used to make full moka pots, and we were constantly throwing away leftover coffee, such a waste. We’re Cuban, and we love our coffee. For me, I wish this was a bit more intense, but it’s still very good and full of flavor. It even produces a nice layer of foam (espumita) on top, which I absolutely love. The best part is being able to make quick espresso shots without a lot of hassle, even when we’re in a hurry. This is an intensity 11, and it pairs very well with milk with coffee (café con leche) as well. I’ll definitely be buying these again. Totally recommend! Friendly tip for your café con leche: sprinkle a little salt and it will be so much more flavorful.

Listen to the warnings. While this seems like decent quality coffee, unfortunately, as others have noted, there is a defect in the capsule manufacturing and many if not most did not work in our Nespresso machine. They often do not allow for proper water flow and very little or nothing comes out. In addition, the noise they make does not make it sound like they are healthy for the machine. When we tried to return on Amazon they wanted “pictures” of the defect which we did not know how to document in jpeg format so we opted to give up and write this review instead.
