Indie Lee Cleansing Balm - Face Cleanser & Makeup Remover with Vitamin C, Kakadu Plum & Meadowfoam Oil for Glowing, Radiant Skin (90ml) -PROS - This Indie Lee cleansing balm is a game changer! Per the written directions and video instructions on the advertisement, I took a small amount and rubbed it all over my face without water. I had on eyeshadow, eyeliner, waterproof mascara, coverup, blush, and face powder. The oils in the balm helped to melt the makeup away. I followed up with my usual mild cleanser and my makeup was fully removed! Typically, when I use this mild cleanser, there is always makeup still on my face. This cleansing balm works beautifully in conjunction with your mild drug store cleanser to fully clean and refreshen your skin. I had surgery on my right eyelid a few months back due to a medical condition, and you can imagine removing eye makeup with a cotton ball is not terribly pleasant. This product has changed that. No need to rub off your eye makeup. Just use the balm, rinse, and then your typical makeup remover cleanser. My face feels fresh and clean! Written instructions are included on the packaging, on a sheet included in the packaging (in multiple languages), and on the tube itself. Lastly, Indie Lee is made in the USA 🇺🇸.CONS - The metal piece included in the packaging…I confess I did not know what it was for! However, I have learned it is to scoop the product and help to smear on your face. Ideally, this would be included in the instructions.OVERALL - Indie Lee Cleansing Balm is an amazing product I highly recommend!Thank you for reading my review!

One of the benefits is that this balm is moisturizing and felt gentle on my somewhat sensitive skin. While it did remove most makeup, the balm did not get everything off my skin.

I love that this product leaves my face feeling moisturized. I do no like that it leave a residue feel on my face. After using this cleanser I have to clean my face with my normal cleanser. I still get the moisturizing effect but I don't see myself using this everyday.

I've been using my new facial cleanser and I'm really impressed with how well it works, it's truly a game-changer. After cleansing my face, my skin feels super hydrated.The directions say that you don't even have to wet your face before applying the product, but I prefer to start with a wet face. However, I think it works even better because it doesn't strip my skin of its natural oils.I was a little hesitant to use this cleanser at first because it didn't contain a lather, but I was pleasantly surprised by how clean my face felt after using it. Despite lacking bubbles, it effortlessly removes impurities, leaving my skin feeling remarkably hydrated and refreshed. Now, washing my face every day has transformed from a mundane task to a daily indulgence, thanks to this cleanser because of how well it leaves my skin feeling so soft and moisturized.Overall, this is a great facial cleanser that also removes makeup effectively. I have mixed feelings about this balm. The reason why, is because it is not a product that I would ever use on its own. For me, I will only use this when I wear makeup and am using the "double cleanse" system where you first use an oil or balm to dissolve your makeup, and then use a regular cleanser to clean up the oil residue and any remaining makeup left behind.Using this balm alone, leaves a film on your face that some may consider moisturizing, but for me, I don't want a cleanser to moisturize, that is what my regular moisturizer is for. With all the oils contained in this cleansing balm, leaving it on your face will create a barrier on your skin, so any moisturizers or serums you use after will not penetrate your skin.This said, I am giving it 5 stars because it's a great cleaning balm for use with the double cleansing method. I just would never use it only on its own.

This product is EXCELLENT!!! As the review title states, it goes on very smoothly (and a small amount goes a long way as well). In no time at all it begins to simply soften and remove the makeup (including foundations that are stubborn). Once it has been removed, it leaves your skin feeling soft and it does not leave any greasy/unpleasant residues behind. It is also worth noting that the scent is VERY mild (unlike many other products), so you won't have to deal with any overpowering odors when using it. Do not hesitate to give this product a try; it is excellent and delivers everything that it promises!
