These are a breeze to install and look great. My original lights were the cheap hanging glass cube type with an open bottom. With the switch to led bulbs which tend to be taller, the bulbs would stick out the bottom of the old fixtures, plus wasps would nest up in the top of it since it is open to the bottom. I wanted something light and easy to install that gave me more room for different size bulbs as well as being more sealed. These have been great. They were so easy to install especially being so light. They easily come apart to clean or work on (made caulking around the base simple). They look great and stood up to a pretty intense windstorm without any issue at all. I couldn't be happier.

When I purchased my house, I couldn't understand why the previous homeowner didnt' replace the old light fixtures. They were small, square, old, rusted and full of spider webs from 20+ years of use. :S Wanting to change the curb apparel, I decided to find replacements to give my place a much needed update. Initially I was hoping to find something affordable from Costco, but they were out of all outdoor lights! But I wasn't concern because I know I can find something decent from Amazon! My must have is: 1. Light weight 2. Classic looking (so it doesn't look outdated in a few years) 3. Won't rust/break This light fixture seem to fit the bill! The whole thing is light weight, but the plastic was build pretty sturdy. Some reviewers mentioned it feels cheap, but you don't carry your outdoor light around you, whey would you care if it's light/heavy weight as long as it's sturdy? The orientation of the light is flexible, so you can point it up or down. Whatever you think suit the situation/the look of the house. The design is classic enough to fit almost any style, I think. I installed LED bulbs with light sensors for automatic night time lighting. SO far this combo works very well, and I can't be happier with both products. PS. Many friends dropped by and compliment the light. They said it looked just like theirs but they experience some spider web/broken glass issue. When I told them it's built in plastic and cost me very little, they just couldn't believe it! Overall, I 'd recommend the light to anyone who wants something light, looking nice and shatter proof.

Brightness depends on the type of bulb.. they look good and priced at the time, just right.

These lights are sturdy and work great! If you act like Hercules with these you will break them. They are not steel, use appropriate common sense. They fit over my old mounting plates and were easy to install. Nice combination and price is unbeatable.

I just installed these only had for a few days. They are made of Aluminum so they should hold up better than plastic and wont get brittle over time. They seem well made and have all parts to mount to any existing round electrical box. the bulbs they come with are about equal to a 60W bulb and are standard A26 (most common) light bulb screw in type. Mine came with black mounting screws as mentioned in my video. they should have come with white ones. small thing but doesnt mess up the functionality. well constructed. I will follow up to see how the paint n finish hold up over time . the side clear parts are made of glass not plastic. sealed up so it seems no larger insects can nest in there like wasps...which happens often with outdoor porch lights that are not fully enclosed. the only gripe is the screw tht connects the small top cap is plastic and hard to turn just before it tightens the top peak part enough to be sealed up. I had to use a plyer to turn it the last 2 twists to make it tight. the flat screw driver would have stripped the head with the pressure needed n it started eating away the plastic flat screw head.

Not metal and I knew that so if you rather metal lamps then look elsewhere as these are plastic and light weight which is easier for me as I have arthritis in my hands so these lamps are perfect. Everything is there to put it up. Thank you very much. I highly recommend this seller and products.

Easy to assemble, light and looks great. I thought there should be an adjustment for the motion detection. When installed in the other configuration, the motion detector seem too sensitive. Other than a good product. James

These lights came with a small part missing from one of the lights and the company was a pleasure to deal with and fixed the problem without hassle or hesitation. They look great and were really easy to assemble.
