This is a great mould

So easy to fill and remove the shape from the mould. I thought that some of them would fall over, but they were surprisingly sturdy. I also thought I would get air bubbles due to the many cavities in each mould, but no air bubbles. Overall, very happy.

Good but teeny teeny tiny. Thought I’d made sure they were decent size but still smaller than what I thought. They are cute though but being so small are a pain to demould and much swearing ensued. Lovely when they are out though and the tips don’t get air bubbles in

This mold works very well with epoxy resin and the edge is wavy which makes it different from ordinary bowls. I recommend taking the mold off while the bowl is still slightly 'bendy' as it is fairly difficult to get off. I you bend the bowl slightly, getting the mold off, the bowl goes back into place without any difficulty.

As you can see from the photos the chess pieces are not evenly colored because you only get 4 pawns, and one of each of the castle, horses and bishops, so you need have two or more resin mixes to get all your pieces, and you can never add the same amount of pigment to all mixes. The chess board has too shallow separations between the adjacent squares, so resin migrates across the boundary and it’s VERY difficult to get the chess board you want. I wanted gold and blue, but couldn’t get the two colors not to mix. So settled for a blue and clear board. The blue spilled over the boundary, but I waited for it to solidify and then popped each one out and cut the extra and put them back in and added the clear resin. For the chess pieces you MUST squeeze the bottoms to get out all the bubbles. You cannot over do this, especially on the castle. Overall this is a much harder mould to use then I would have liked.
