Definitely a medium firm roller. People who are complaining it's too firm have never used the Amazon basics roller. That thing is solid dense foam. This one has some slight give. Probably the perfect amount in my opinion. Deducting a star bc after a couple back roll outs, it's starting to hourglass in the middle.
