Excellent belt, but uneven execution (small defects).
I ordered this belt with five things in mind: 1) one prong fast relief, 2) non-slip surface, 3) sufficient length, 4) 12 holes in the belt, 5) dimensions: overall 4 inch equal width, doubled by 10 mm thickness. First belt that arrived is very good, but it has a few small defects. First blemish was that it did not have 12 holes as advertised, but only 10 holes! I call first hole the one closest to the free end of the belt, and the tenth hole the one closest to the buckle. On top of that, the holes are not in a straight line -- holes 2, 8 and 10 are off the median line of the belt. Hole 8 is quite off, you can see it even when the belt resides on a wavy surface, and the belt is not completely straight (as in my pictures). Next one that is slightly less visible is hole 2, with 10 being the closest to the middle line of the belt (you can almost not see that it is off). Being a one prong belt, the holes that are off the longitudinal axis of symmetry don't alter the equation at all. Third little problem is that the holes should be 1 inch apart, but after the second or third hole they start drifting further apart (which is not necessarily a bad thing) -- the distance between them is not constant, it varies slightly. So overall I was very happy with this belt, because you cannot beat the price!!! The one prong allows quick on and off, the surface is so non-slip that I ripped my pants between my legs when I did my first squat with this belt! Once put in place and tightened at a medium strength, this belt is not going anywhere -- you will rip your clothes to pieces and this belt will not move. The thickness on this belt is comfortable, but completely reassuring, once you put it on it feels like you are encased in a circle of soft steel. Belt is smooth right out of the box, it straightens right on and there is no need to un-bend it in any way, just put it on a hook and let it hang for a while, and within one month it will be straight as an arrow, without losing anything from its properties. Belt is very strong, yet very malleable, no issues in tightening it as much as your body allows it. But the belt does have a particular smell, and while the smell is not very strong, at the beginning it can be pretty persistent, especially if you are working in a small and less ventilated room. Do not put the new belt out of the box to your nose and inhale -- the smell is nauseating and overwhelming. More reason to hang it in a hook and let is straighten, while at the same time losing its factory smell. It will probably smell like that for eternity, but after each day spent in a medium size room, the smell subsides a little. After a month and a half I cannot smell it anymore, unless I put the belt to my nose. Belt has a nice feeling to the touch, the ending with the buckle being very strong, with 6 tough rivets to hold it together nicely. First belt is [50] inches long, completely extended, from the tip of the belt to the left, to the very side of the buckle roller on the right (see pics). The ten holes cover a distance of [9 and 1/2] inches long, from the left of the first hole to the right of the tenth hole (not measured between the centres of the first and last hole). Width is 4 inches, thickness is between 10 mm and 11 mm towards the buckle. So then I ordered a second belt for my son. To my surprise, even though I ordered the same size (LARGE, you can still see the round white stickers on the belts) the second belt was a noticeably longer! And it had more holes -- but again, not 12 as advertised, but 11 (go figure). I think three is my lucky number, if I order the third one, it will have 12 holes (fingers crossed). Second belt is [54 and 1/4] inches long (4 and 1/4 inches longer than its first sister). The eleven holes cover a distance of [10 and 3/4] inches long. The ends of the belts are identical as far as the shape is concerned, but the shorter belt has the holes starting a bit over 1/4 inch further from the tip of the belt (by comparison). The stitching on the first belt was intact, no blemishes, nothing amiss, nothing out of order, all flowing beautifully and uninterrupted, both on the front and the back of the belt, white stitching on black suede lining. The second belt had the outside OK, but on the inside it had a little blemish on one of the outside stitching, it looked like something very hot was poured over the belt and it sort of melted the stitching away. Also, a further bit down, right in the middle, the belt was dirty with some sort of sticky residue, seemed to be connected with the blemished stitching somehow. I cleaned it as good as I could, but you can still see the trace there. All in all, excellent belt for your money, the value that this belt is packing is amazing: for this amount of money you probably cannot get anything better in this class of professional belts. Execution of the belt seems to be uneven though, between two "identical" belts, the fluctuations are pretty big: different lengths, different number of holes, different placement of the group of holes on the belt, uneven holes as to the longitudinal axis of symmetry, and uneven distance between two consecutive holes. I gave this belt five stars out of five because I could not give it 4.75 on a scale of 1 to 5. But again, these are defects that you can live with, the belt is more than long enough, I am 40 inches at the navel, and on the short belt I am on the fifth hole, while on the long belt I am at the eighth hole (obviously more room on the longer one, plus the difference in placement of the holes that favours still the long belt). In a bind, one could easily punch in one more hole towards the tip of the belt (on the inside you can easily punch at least 10 more holes, but who would need that), even two holes if needed. So in case one packs more fat on the belly, there is still some room left for additional holes -- based on the thickness of the belt, I would recommend either going to a shoe repair shop for this work, or buying some professional grade tools -- this is a nice belt, one cannot ruin it by botching a hole (or two). No idea if the manufacturer would do such a thing if the belt is sent back to them (I mean, years after it was purchased -- that might be a good question for them) -- I purchased the LARGE size belt with this thing specifically in mind. I will try and come back after one year and post some pictures to show how the belt stood up to the wear and tear.

Excellent product
I've had this belt for five years now. I squat, bench and deadlift with it every week. It's comfortable, it hasn't really worn out, and it gets the job done. Would 100% recommend this to anyone.

great belt period. for the price it is amazing!!
this belt is perfect quality. only issue i have with it is the material is very durable and because of that it is stiff. i use the belt extremely tight for support while lifting and body shape manipulation while doing cardio. it is very rigid. after month of using this belt every day for a few hours it has gotten alot softer but is still not broke in.. but its also not worn out. bottom line the belt is great and the material is very strong and slightly stiff

Well made and works for lower back support.
This workout and weight lifting belt arrived quickly and without damage. It arrived wrapped in a clear plastic bag and that was placed in a very long box. I can see why they put it in a long box. If they had put it in a small box and wound it up then the belt would have memory and not be ready to contour specific to your body. You start out with a belt that it as flat as you see in the picture. I'm thankful that they thought about this and didn't ship out a funky shaped belt. I got this belt for weightlifting and doing work around the farm. We are constantly moving things around and doing stuff here on the farm. It doesn't hurt to have a little back support to make sure there aren't any lower back problems later in life. The first time I put it on I didn't notice much improvement in back support. I took it off and readjusted my shorts that I had on. Putting it back on with the belt a little tighter showed Improvement. It's keeping my core tight and preventing my lower back from rounding, should I allow that to happen. I can see where this would also help you to get a stronger lower back. This is my first time using a belt like this so don't be set back by my lack of knowledge in having it snug enough the first time. The velcro is stitched very well to the belt, it isn't loose when peeling it back apart. The velcro itself holds together while the belt is in use and isn't cheap velcro material. Nothing is glued or poorly connected. The belt feels rigid and will contour to body shape very well. The belt is comfortable to wear. I'm working outside in the woods with it on a hot summer day. There isn't any issues with working and sweating on it. The top of the belt was directly on skin and wasn't irritating at all. All edges have comfortable material sewed on. There isn't any rough material or burrs. I followed the sizing chart which turned out well. The size "medium" fits perfect on my 35' waist. There enough room to go up to a 38' waist like the chart says. The belt is going to be used a lot. If anything changes with the structure of it then I'll update this review. As with any of my reviews, if you have any questions please feel free to ask. I usually reply within a day.

By far the worst belt that I have ever used- even for the price
I got this belt because my original lever belt broke and I needed one to use while I waited for my lever belt to come in. I don't know why, but this belt is exceptionally bad- like the creators didn't have lifting in mind. The design itself was terrible. (This is speaking for the size small) I'm usually a small/xsmall in belts. Once you loop the prong into the belt hole (if you can even do that), you can't put it through the belt loop because the belt loop is way too close to the frame and the prong. The belt is way too thick to be able to do so. This may work if you use the last belt loop (as the tail of the belt would be short enough) but it wont for the rest of the belt holes. That in itself is a problem because that means there's something fundamentally wrong with the belt structure. The thing that irked me the most about this belt was the way they made the prong. Not only was it faulty because it had a hook on the belt prong (which made it impossible to get into any of the belt loops regardless of how tight/loose it was around the waist) but it's incredibly clunky and stiff- even for a new, not broken into belt. You legit cannot get it off because the prong is hooked and stuck into the belt loop. If you can even get it on (which is easier than getting it off, but not easy by any means) you're basically stuck in the belt for the rest of your workout. Forget about even taking it off in between sets- you're basically going to need another person to help you take the belt off. It may be because my belt was slightly faulty, but when there's so many other options out there with the same price and way better structure, I wouldn't waste your time and energy with this one.

Great Customer Service! Also, my first weight lifting belt, so far so good
The first belt came mislabeled/packaged. The seller was so quick to reply and sent me a new one. Very easy and great to work with! I have lifted in the past but not with a true program or guidance, so it didn't go very well. At the beginning of this year I started an actual strength training program which focuses on compound lifts and oriented to lifting heavy: squats, deadlift, overhead press, bench press, barbell row. I have reached a point in my lifting that I need some core support. I looked into what makes a good weight lifting belt and found this one. It seems to check all the boxes for me: single prong, supported buckle bar, real leather, 10mm, less expensive/budget-minded. The reviews were pretty good so I decided to try it out. So far, I love this thing. The belt takes some getting used to and you need to do some research in how to properly utilize it and when to use it. The only issue I have is that the rough finish is a little uncomfortable. I am sure part is still part of the breaking-in of the belt. If it never gets better, it is still worth the price. I would highly recommend this belt, especially to new lifters. I am 5'10" 228 lbs, true waist 42"(where the belt goes over the belly button) and I have plenty of room with the Large belt to cinch it down. I do get some areas where the belt digs into my gut, but break-in and continual use to better place on each lift will help alleviate this. Get this one, you won't be sorry.

Nothing could be as better as this
Thanks to a speedy delivery from Amazon, I am proudly owning this iron-solid belt. I am still wondering how disgruntled can anyone be for giving negative reviews for such a sturdy, cost-effective, lovely gym belt. Its so sturdy that it would surely weigh me a couple of pounds wearing it. I purchased a medium size and my waist size is in upper thirties. Just 2 holes remaining on the belt. That is to give approx length of the belt. It is about 1/2 inch thicker, well woven, suide leather, has metallic groves and a stong and sturdy buckle, which is not going to come out anytime soon. Happy as of now and its going to have its gym test tommorrow.

Quality has significantly dropped, but a sturdy belt for the price
I bought this same belt a little over a year ago and it has been incredible. It's thick, well-made, and high-quality. It has taken a true beating between Strongman and Powerlifting and a variety of folks at my gym using it. I bought a second one in a size smaller this past week and it is a night and day difference in quality for the worse. It is significantly thinner, the material is not high-quality, and it feels like it won't last. I only use it these days for 1 movement in Strongman, and use a lever belt for the rest of the time, so I'll keep it. But you should know it's not nearly as nice as it used to be.
