Kookaburra Waterproof Garden Sun Shade Sail Canopy in Ivory 98% UV Block (3.6m Square)

Excellent! Bought for a very hot conservatory! Quote for blinds was 2k! So decided to buy this for £20. It's fantastic! Blocked out most of the sun,and kept the temperature down! A must if on a budget!

I did a lot of research before buying these shades. These were the only ones I found with consistently good reviews. I had presumed from the name they were Australian. But no British. Only been up a week. But look robust to survive the wind. However after about a week of being up they did stretch and I had to redo them. Even though I had carefully hung them so one side was lower they did end up with puddles of water on top. I am sure I will work it out eventually. But changed my review from 5* to 4. I bought the ivory colour and it works well; casts shade without making it dark. The rope that comes with it is in 4x1 meter lengths.

This is the third sail I have bought to replace my original one that lasted several years. The previous two were simply not of the quality or dimensions that I needed so had to be returned. This one, finally, is really well made from quality materials and is the dimensions I need. Really pleased to have found Kookaburra - much better than the competition and not too highly priced.

As described this is a sunshade that is waterproof . It’s well made with strong re unforced anchor points so putting tension was good . We have a south west facing garden and get full sun all day and sometimes the seating area gets too hot so this provided great shade when needed . It also was good for the typical U.K. weather of bright sunshine one minute and light showers the next . Kept us all dry , however not when it downpours . But that is not what is described as so not complaints there. It’s actually withstood a heavy rain for a good 30 minutes before it started pooling and just leaked at the seams . NB the square area is 3x3metres so be aware if you want coverage for 3.6x3.6 metres

Great quality, well made and waterproof

Held up well in mild wind, heavy rain, kept the furniture dry underneath, looks really good, nice cream colour. The only thing is that the ropes are quite short so it needed additional rope, which wasn’t a problem but knocks a star off from being a 5

Really difficult to install, almost impossible to get all edges tensioned. Collects water even if on a slope to drain off and then distorts the sail centrally. Granted very little water get through but some does, in little drops now and again. Dimensions are less than clear- it is significant smaller than I had expected, granted the corners reach across the stated size but the active sail part is quite a lot smaller than that. It is the way it is made with non parallel edges I guess to allow successful tensioning ( best of luck with that however!)

Brilliant product very well priced. It looks the part once it is installed and it does the job very well. What will cost you a fortune is the fixing gear you will need to put the thing up, unless you have of course 3 handy trees. A tensioning system of some description is absolutely vital, without such a system the sail will just not sit right and make sure the sail is at an angle to allow the water to run off otherwise, as we found out the water will collect in the middle and it is then difficult to shift. We have all enjoyed the sail now that it is installed and can be taken down easily.

Das Sonnensegel hat eine sehr angenehme Größe für eine etwas kleinere Terrasse. Der helle Farbton macht es beim darunter sitzen gleich wohnlich. Selbst im Haus wird es mit diesem Segel gleich heller wenn das Licht drauf scheint. In unserem Wohnzimmer ist es durch unseren Balkon drüber immer dunkel, aber mit dem Segel scheint jetzt immer die Sonne rein. Wir sind sehr zufrieden, auch die Qualität ist super. Es ist sehr sauber verarbeitet und sehr stabil? Stärkerem Wind hat es schon problemlos standgehalten.

voile d ombrage conforme a la description, bonne résistance au vent, permet de faire réellement de l ombre, le petit bémol c'est que ce ne pas vraiment un triangle rectangle, s'en approche seulement.

Ho acquistato questa tenda per coprire una terrazza dal sole. Volevo qualcosa di rimovibile ed ho scelto la versione impermiabile perchè meno costosa e perchè pensavo fosse più robusta. Sono stato soddisfatto dell'acquisto effettuato. Ho montato tutto rapidamente (ma devi progettare tu come realizzare la copertura) e altrettanto rapidamente l'ho smontata a fine estate. Eccezionale, ha resistito tranquillamente anche a giornate di vento e alla pioggia di cenere che, con l'eruzione dell'Etna e' caduta in terrazza. Gli attacchi sono robusti ma credo che per grandi misure (io ho acquistato la quadrata da 5,40 m.) sarebbe utile un altro aggancio nella parte centrale.Un ottimo acquisto ed un'ottima soluzione per riparare dal sole.

Bonne qualité, bien couvrant et imperméable. J'avais déjà acheté un exemplaire l'année dernière, comme ma terrasse est grande j'en ai racheté un deuxième. Bonne résistance sur le long terme.
