Really comfortable Padded seat had knee surgery

For a plus size woman, this product was very sturdy for me after a total knee replacement surgery.

I've tried a couple of other so-called heavy duty chairs for my shower. I'm 6' 1" , 250 lbs and really old,this is the first one I've found that make me feel secure when showering. It's heavy aluminum, so no rust like the "medicare" chairs. The assembly is literally a snap since it goes together with no tools except for the toilet paper roll holder - and they supplied that Allen wrench for you. The rest is basically just snap together using dual spring button at each location plus pins. The instructions are well done - follow them - and pay attention to the letter stickers at each joint - and your chair will be together in about 10 minutes. In use, I was originally worried about the foam covering the arms being slippery when wet and soapy - they are, BUT the covering is deep and allows for a good grip even so. The legs have a good 6 inch height adjustment if you're tall... for me I lowered it to the second hole from the top. The back rest is also covered in the same foam as the arms and is comfortable. Overall I really like this for a shower chair, I just wish I had found it sooner.

I had tried 2 other brands but they did not extend horizontally for my wide hips. This one expands a lot! I have plenty of room for navigating toilet hygiene and not violate the 90 degree precautions of hip replacement surgery. The height is easily adjusted, too although I would leave that to family members for now. The only drawback is the space between the seat and the actual toilet bowl is open space and this might result in clean up from time to time. Lowering the height would help with this drawback.

This product goes above with thick padded handles at sides and back. It even comes with a lid for the catch bucket. Very sturdy. I am happy to recommend it.

Got this for 94 year old mom. The standard bedside was so narrow she had issues . This one is perfect. The padded seat and TP holder is an added bonus. The wide base also makes this a very sturdy unit.

I looked at dozens of expensive bedside commodes for my 200 pound 6’ 5” husband who can hardly stand, but I was not impressed by the bucket leaking and cheap quality reported by reviewers. And we knew from experience that the hospital grade ones were not comfortable or sturdy enough for him to feel safe. And although I was hesitant to buy this one due to few reviews, I am thrilled with it. Easy to assemble, plenty large for him, he feels secure and safe when using it, and no issues with waste hitting the floor from around the top of the bucket. Very happy and thankful I made the right choice. 👍
