There are no instructions with the lock set which normally would be ok if the lock set was decent. This set is actually impossible to install without some modifications to the poor manufacturing process. You can not actually assemble what comes in the box. I am a Handyman by trade and install at least 5 lock sets a week, I have actually used Kwikset lock sets before with no problem. If you are just a DIY homeowner you will have a terrible time with this lock set. You can see how the shaft wonât engage because of poor manufacturing in my photo. I had to use a Dremel tool to open the hole.

Somewhat easy to install, but no instructions. Seems to work fine, will update it later.

My house is over 40 years old. had to replace the original exterior door locks. No instructions, but how hard could it be? Well, took me an hour and a half.
