Newham council water has fluoride
Just found out the government is allowing fluoride in out water and wanted to check if Newham has it and according to this test it does.

Water leak source detection.
The test provided evidence that an underground water leak was highly likely to be from a drinking water pipe rather than (rain/surface) water.A value for money indication for finding th source of the leak.

Rubbish don't waste your money
Totally useless, Chinese cr**p. I tested my local spring water which I drink regularly here in Wales and also my mains tap water..(which I can smell the amount of chlorine in...) both readings exactly the same!! Best to buy from a dedicated water testing company.. you will pay a bit more but you will probably get a proper more reliable reading.

No fluoride?
Overall, super easy to use product and very cheap to purchase. I was very impressed with their readability and clear explanations however I don’t love the mode of comparing your strips to a printed scale on the back of the package as this doesn’t feel very accurate. Would be better to have control strips which don’t change colour in the water which you can compare too but I understand they are limited in what they can offer. My major concern is their accuracy and performance. I live in the North of England and the water ‘additives’ are very clearly documented on our council website. I bought these as I live in an old home and was concerned about water quality after going through potentially Victorian (lead) piping. These strips say our quality is great - no lead and no heavy metals etc. HOWEVER they also read as the water having 0 fluoride which contradicts our council and water company which states they do add fluoride to the water. Which means their results may be very inaccurate and therefore low quality.Hard to say for sure because I didn’t buy a second type of strips to quality control but the 0 reading for fluoride is indicative that they are possibly inaccurate. Use caution when interpreting these results

South East water hated this
Found extreamly high ammounts of Nitrate in the water which South east water tried denying but at the same time refused to send any one out to test the water.turned out that our water was getting contaminated by leaks in the water line allowing contaminates to get into our drinking water. So glad i got these when we all kept coming down ill and found out why we was getting ill

Does the job supposedly
I used one of the strips provided to test my water and some of the squares did not colour in any of the colours on the guide table. It was good to have some measurements of the quality of my drinking water but I have no guarantee that they are 100%.
