Arrived on time, box in mint condition. Opened up, all looked good. Inserted the 3 light bulbs, plugged in to mains, all came on ok. No where to clip it on where I was checking it initially worked, so whilst holding it by the clip I pressed one of the two switches to change the light combination and received a massive electric shock up both arms and jolt to chestThankfully no burns but arms tingling and still in discomfort half an hour later after getting off phone with Amazon - due to nature of electric shock being across chest and sensations in chest/arms afterwards phoned up NHS and was advised to go spend my Sunday evening in A&E for an ECG which I did.

Pros:+ Very convenient for positioning the lights+ Comes with some very bright bulbs+ Double switch allows you to only use 1 or 2 of the lights if necessary.+ Very powerful clip+ The light bulbs can be swapped out if they blow or you want to use a different type.Cons:- The bulbs it comes with are dirt cheap, they come apart when you try to unscrew them, and I got a really nasty shock from one.- The flexible parts are not glued to the base, so if you put too much weight on them against the direction they are screwed in, they can swing around completely loose from the base.- Exposed metal on the clips is very sharp, so it could easily scratch what you clip it to.

As I ran out of windowsill space for my chilli seedlings this year I thought I’d try this light attached to a shelf and it’s great. Better growth rates than the windowsill plants and it’s very versatile too.Update had this for year now and although results are great with the plants, it has only been used from Jan to April last year and Jan to Feb 28th so far this year and one bulb has blown already which is poor for LEDs. Also when unscrewing the bulbs the whole bulb falls apart which shows how poor the quality is. Essentially a great lamp for versatility and growth results but lacking quality in manufacturing.

Runs too hot for me - close to a propagator, it threw enough heat to warp the plastic. One of the heads failed on my unit too - as the bulb blew one small LED, so has stopped working. The clamp is super tough, so that's a great feature - and the flexible heads aren't wimpy either - I just wish the heat was a bit lower...

Very bright output, good clip. Only problem is the parts start to unscrew very easily. Unscrewing a bulb actually unscrewed the entire bulb housing. Needs a higher torque setting or a bead of glue during manufacture. They are also easy to position and the fact you can replace the bulbs does beat the competition. They do get hotter than expected for an LED but unless you hold onto them, I don't see them causing any huge issues.

Great little light, perked up indoor plants and helped seedlings along before planting. A must in this changeable weather. Bought 2nd as gift for parents who were impressed by how it helped my poor little plants. 3 heads means you can catch multiple pots.

Not the best, some of the LEDs have stopped working.It was good to begin with, now I'm looking into returning it.

first item arrived with only two lights working lamp itself is marked at base and the lamp is loose where it attaches to the clamp overall really not impressed especially considering this was one of the more expensive lamps in its category.
