Ubiquiti G5 camera is a superb bit of kit.
If you already have any Ubiquiti items you know what quality is. This camera forms part of cctv coverage around my property, and is truly excellent. Easy to install, easy to maintain, and a wonderful addition to my Ubiquiti system. Points to Note : Ubiquiti kit is designed to work in connection with it,s switches, and other hardware. This camera needs a POE (power over ethernet) cat 5 6 or 7 cable to power it up. If you do not have a switch which provides this,you need to use the small poe injector to provide power.

The video feed on this is good enough for most uses. Feels and looks like a quality product - and also a lot more compact than the AI-Pro

Good cost effective camera. Worked well attached to drain pipe. Cranked up contrast for improved night vision.

Love Ubiquiti equipment
I love Ubiquiti equipment and have used for many years. This camera was easy to setup and install. Shame it doesn’t come with a PoE adaptor like older UniFi cameras used to, but thats a quality of life thing.

Chirping noises
Purchased in Aug 2024, straight out of the box, No1 had a chirping noise on audio, and the replacement the same. Ubiquiti confirmed the 1st one was bad. About to get a third. This is why it is important to buy from proper retail channels.
