Sturdy and effective, replaced old plastic ones

Needed to replace olive for a copper one. Everything else is brilliant and great quality.

I couldn’t get the feral off the old valve so I had to saw 15 mm of the end of the copper pipe, but it’s still the highest point in the central heating system. Fitting the venting valve was extremely easy having drained the central heating system and applied PTFE tape to the thread, went on without an issue.And the first for me it didn’t leak 🤣. Don’t forget to loosen the plastic cap slightly on the top of the valve to allow the free air to escape.

I didn't realise until I researched it, but Altecnic is now part of the Caleffi group. I needed 2 auto bleeds in a hurry, and screwfix / toolstation don't seem to keep stock. BES were only a couple of quid cheaper and couldn't deliver next day. I didn't think to look on Amazon at first, so was surprised. Arrived promptly as promised. Others have mentioned lack of instructions but I suspect these parts are only intended to be fitted by those in the trade? Anyway, am delighted with the product and service. Plumbing bits on Amazon... Who'd have thought?!

Got rid of my air locks quickly. You might need ptfe tape or jointing compound.

Replacement for leaking valve.

I didn't even know what this device was until I had a similar unit fail and leaked water in our airing cupboard. The original wasn't exactly the same but this is the closest I could find. However it resolved the problem and is currently serving its purpose bleeding air off the central heating circuit.
