Bosch Home and Garden 2609256271 115 mm Rubber Sanding Plate for Angle Grinder with Velcro-Type Fastening System

I bought this to use with my Bosch angle grinder. I needed to strip many layers of paint from a teak garden table. I thought that this sanding pad was remarkably good value for money and, being a genuine Bosch accessory, I was confident that the quality would be there.I’m a very satisfied customer. Using this sanding pad and a selection of cheap sanding discs I was able to strip back and smooth 6’ x 3’ table in under 30 minutes. Using a hand sanding block I’d still be at it now. If I never use this sanding pad again I’ll consider it to be money well spent.Incidentally, I also bought the cheap bundle of 80 various grit sanding discs bundles by Amazon. Perfect for the job.

Good for what it is made for.I haven’t use it yet but when I do hopefully it should make sanding tasks a bit easier.Delivery and service was quick.

Fits perfectly with my Bosch angle grinder.I only needed the 400 grit paper using very light pressure to sand some wood filler and prep for painting.Once the rain stops, I'll be using on sleepers.

Fits standard angle grinder thread. (Mine is a Dewalt). Very stiff rubber which is perfect for agressive material removal and flat surfaces but would be less good for curved surfaces as edges will cut into surface.

Always a bit wary of hook and loop systems but the one on this pad holds hook and loop sanding discs like the proverbial sttb. It works.
