How much weight these mini cone paint stands can hold?

If you're using 3 or 4 cones for each piece your painting, I got up to 10 pounds... I felt it could hold more though.

What size ( height and width )are the pyramids and how much weight can they hold?

I'm not sure the actual size but I would say around the 2"x2"x2" range. As far as weight, I'm more or less 275lbs and stepped on one by accident. It wasn't my whole weight but most of it and it didn't die, no stress lines but it did flex a little bit. I've used 4 on a project (at each corner) to elevate something that was about 150lbs with ease, no sign of stress.

Can these pyramids support the weight of a dresser?

I highly doubt it. They are intended to hold a shelf, a drawer or drawer front, or a cabinet door for painting / staining. I think a dresser would be WAY too heavy.

How pointy is the pyramid stands top? Do things stay on?

I was building cabinet drawers and used 4 cones under each raw wood panel while staining. For the most part, the panels didn't slide while brushing the stain on lightly with a 2" brush. The only time I had an issue was when I got impatient and flipped the panels while the stain was still wet... in that case the panels did slide around on the tips of the cones and later I had to sand off the nubs and recoat.
