Kitchens of IndiaPaste for Butter Chicken Curry, 3.5 Ounce

I've tried many different butter chicken sauces and paste's from grocery stores and this one tops them all and I haven't looked back ever since. I'm not joking, you can even find them at select local grocery stores. 100% would recommend with some basmati rice and garlic naan. Incredibly tasty.

Not sure about those who purchased this for $17, but I received it for under $2 and it was well worth it. I have tried countless other curry sauce packets and this is my favorite thus far. It is definitely the easiest to make- throw it, your meat/veggies, some water and butter into a pot and essentially leave it on its own for 20 minutes and you have an instant meal. The other sauce packets typically ask for sauteing and some can wind up with a lumpy consistency as a final product, but the meat turned out lovely in this one by simply boiling it within the sauce, and the it had the perfect consistency for pouring over rice. I highly recommend this product for both the taste and ease of making it. I have also tried their Chicken Tikka curry paste, and it was excellent as well.By the way, although this is marketed specifically for chicken, I used 1.25lbs of beef shank instead. Otherwise, I followed the directions exactly, and it turned out perfectly!

I've tried several hot buttered curried chicken sauces and I've found this one in particular the one I prefer. While providing that spicy hot taste it does not overpower the flvour accents of the other spices in this sauce. Easy to use paste makes it simple to make for me one of my favourite curried dishes, hot buttered curried chicken.

Oh. My. Goodness. We are repeat buyers of this and will continue to be. This is especially great for "clean the fridge out" time before doing the grocery shopping. All the veggies and whatever meat (if any) that is defrosted or red lentils. We make this in the Instant Pot and have loved every variation of ingredients that we have used it with. We also include this in our emergency supplies. If we have to run from a hurricane, we will still have some comfort food with us. Bonus: This works perfectly with a low- or lower-carb diet.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Update: We love this so much. This is now a staple in our pantry. It is especially great with our Instant Pot. (Super-pressure-cooker)Today we cooked up some garbanzos in the Instant Pot, drained them and separated the liquids, then began sautéing (with a little ghee) some sliced broccoli stems, celery, and onions. While doing that, I am using some of the reserved liquid in a small saucepan with this Butter Chicken Paste to make a sauce. Next the rest of the veggies are going in the pot with the beans and sauce to pressure cook for 5 minutes and then, voilà, instant pot + butter chicken paste happiness. My husband has come in repeatedly to ask when it will be done.I'm thinking about putting this into a care package. Sooooo yummy!

Was expecting a powdered product but it is more like a flattened paste. So quick and easy to make a spicy exotic Indian dish, maybe a bit spicier than I expected but nice flavour and I enjoyed it a lot even more so the next day!
