Contigo Filter Water Bottle -Would Buy It Again
My local water is great (SF Bay Area), so I don't currently use the filter or the filter holder. I will use them when I travel to an area with bad tasting water like Hawaii. The bottle works great, it is easy to use one-handed, doesn't leak and has a cover for the spout. Also, a lot lighter than the metal version.

Expired Filter Included!
The bottle itself is great. Came with an expired filter though. I guess that is better than no filter at all?

Bottle came with an already expired filter. Seeing as the shelf life of the filter was 2 years, this was easily avoidable

Finally it's been perfected
I've tried brita, philips, and other brands for their filtered water bottles. This one is finally what I wanted. I hate having to suck the water through a straw. While I like the sports bottle style that is flexible and you can squeeze like the philips one I have, I don't like how it leaks a lot after a short amount of use (handwashed of course). This one you can drink from easily, like a traditional bottle of water.The water tastes great. I've tested it again the tap water I put it pre-filter. It tastes like bottled water, or filtered through a brita of some sort. Installing filter is easy. There are no leaks at all. It's easy to use and to make sure that it doesn't leak. The cost is appropriate. I'm really happy with this. Although I received mine for free. I bought a second one for myself.A tip - if you don't like the speed at which it comes out (maybe a little slow), hold the water bottle upside down momentarily and the filter will fill up and the water comes out as fast as any water bottle. Kind of fun to do actually as the bubbles go through. I mean it when I say this thing is perfect. Thank you Contigo for making what I've wanted for a while!

You need the perfect mouth for this product
With or without the filter, it still spills down the front of my shirt. It's so frustrating. The "mouthpiece" to drink has something to be desired. That's unfortunate, considering this is a name-brand product.

Exactly what I wanted
Great quality product, very easy to change the filter, doesn't leak. I wanted this because i didn't want to use a straw. Take it to work and refill during the day. Very easy to pour into a cup for filtered water. I will probably buy another one for my husband.
