Stays put except on the very hottest day swings between cold and hot. If you’ve used a suction mount on your windshield you know what this means. Temperature expansion/contraction can always dislodge these, this one is as resistant to that cycle as any I’ve had. It’s super stable and doesn’t allow much vibration to the phone. Easy to position exactly as needed and keep in an unobtrusive corner of your windshield. Best version of a suction mount I’ve used by far. Of course you have to buy into the quad lock ecosystem (phone case required at minimum) to use it, but quad lock’s stuff is all great, if not cheap.

First off, I love the product for ease of use, quality and dependability. I use the mount on my bikes and in my car. Great products. Unfortunately, after two years the mount fell off the windshield and I could not get it to hold again. Their customer service quickly resolved the issue and sent me a replacement mount. They were easy to work with and the new mount has lasted several months without disengaging. Great product but I always stay loyal to companies that stand behind their products. Thank you.

This thing is absolutely fantastic because it is so simplistic and works perfectly! I bought a very nice (and cheap) phone holder which attaches to the vents, and as nice as it was, brushing against it the very first time broke one of my vent blades. So since I'm already using a Quad Lock case, I opted for this direct from the company (via Amazon, of course). I wish I would have just done this from the very beginning. With the 3M tape on the back and the curved base, it fits perfectly on my dash.In my humble opinion, it is WELL worth the extra money. It comes with an extra 3M double sided tape in case you want to relocate it, and an alcohol wipe to clean the area before mounting (you must do this first in order to get it to stick securely).The adjustment on it is a little bit more difficult than some, but because of this very reason it will absolutely not budge once you have it tightened on the back (the pivot ball is rubber instead of plastic, so it very firmly grips the holder).Also, despite what the pictures may imply, you are able to pivot the holder in any direction. I was a tiny bit concerned at first that it would only go 90 degrees to one side, but it is fully pivot-able in any direction.HIGHLY recommended if you have a Quad Lock case for your phone, or plan on getting one!!

I have been using these for years. Makes it nice if your using a nav app or some type of vehicle monitoring app by making it easy to see!

Easy to use and holds phone nicely with the quad lock phone case. Does tend to loosen up on the vent but it’s so easy to snug back up it dosent bother me.

Buyer Beware with Quad Lock: Purchased a Quad Lock 360 Dual Pivot Arm to mount a Samsung 10E phone, not big. Within 2 months of use, due to the metal construction and it being rather heavy, it broke out the vent fin that it was attached to. Looking on their website, they no longer carry this product indicating they likely had other issues. Currently, purchased this suction mount and what a joke. The base does not "lock in" so the phone literally moves up/down or side/side over 1/2". Not cool for a product charged almost $60. Quad Lock needs to get their act together.

Installed in BMW X5. This design is the best vent holder I have ever used and I have tried them all. It’s a plus that it works with the Quad Lock platform which I have now standardized on since using to secure my iPhone in my Indian Scout Rogue. I was hesitant to waste money on another vent holder as they rarely work and wind up in the junk draw. The reviews convinced me to give it a shot and… Wow. It’s great and rock solid. Like it was installed by my car guy. The unit let me perfectly position it right where i need it. I had the window mount before this one but it obstructed my view and was a stretch to reach. Get this and the charger top. Cry about the cost once and enjoy it every time you get in the car. I included a bunch of photos with different angles so you can see how mine is installed. I love it and highly recommend it. Well designed, simple to use and built to last. Enjoy!
