Clarity at last...nearly
My pond has been rejuvenated by this great peice of kit....still a way to go to see the hidden depths but the bottom is in sight. Easyish to set up...maybe the information leaflet could be a bit more informative (the only bit not clear)....especially for first time amateurs. However once set up it has shown its strengths...we even have a small waterfall now. Time will tell on how it copes; the signs are positive. Recommend 5*

Product leaks and does not remove algae but pump volume good
I had to spend two hours taking it apart and using a jar of vaseline to stop all the leaks from the filter unit. The filter has been going three days now and I have not noticed any change in how green the pond is. Having back-washed the filter once, the dirty water is not that different in colour. The pump works well and delivers an impressive volume of water.

Pity no hose included.
Just a shame that the delivery did not include the hose, despite the description saying it did, as it will not work without it.

I'd have said 5 stars but this more powerful "unit" is just 2 of the lower power units, so takes up more space etc. Works well.
It seems to have taken me ages but I finally appear to have achieved the right “balance” within my modest pond (say 3m diameter, round). I have bought:https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004V7JJEQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003GV6T9G/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00JXNEIDA/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00G96XHXQ/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o08_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00VLX203A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00I4278K6/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B0077L4V8C/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o02_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00DJ1T4L8/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00LW0RD0M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00SYS5GJ0/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o07_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Which, to say the least, ought to keep my little pond running at perfect levels !I should also add that when we moved into the house, the pond already had a weak filter / fountain system. I’ve since re-attached that to the pond-spitters (the fairy and the cherub). When attached to the more powerful filtration systems it was like a garden sprinkler !Of all of this ‘kit’ the anti-blanket weed treatment has proved excellent – no signs of it 1 week after application.Without a doubt the main thing is the flitration system. However, I think that is closely followed by the air pump + air stones.I’ve obviously had to use a system of gravel / Cotswold stone to hide the pumps and lines. I now have beautifully clear water, cascading off stones into the pond. I have 30 + fish in the pond and since I’ve got the balance right, no fatalities.I also bought this, which was a disaster:https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B004R39F34/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1Basically the effect was to create ‘spiders web’ which algae could cling to at the surface of the pond. Although the water underneath was perfectly clear the anti-heron mesh ruined visibility….hence I replaced it with the galvanised mesh listed above which hangs 1 inch above the water and so doesn’t create a gudge-trap.OK: I think I may have gone wild on buying kit for the pond, but finally I’ve got rid of the niggles and have achieved a perfectly good biological balance…..Good luck fellow pondies !

If only there was such a thing as 'Easy' in relation to ponds!
The pump has been installed for a month now and is working well. The hose length supplied was nowhere near long enough and I had to supplement it, but the rest of the kit was excellent, including the hose clamps. Cleaning the filter is very difficult, and this is because the entry and exit hoses re connected to the lid which has to be lifted off. Since the hoses are buried in earth, the hose clips have to be undone and disconnected to lift the lid off. There has been no noticeable improvement to the water quality, which is still green. The waterfall is acceptable, but I was expecting a more powerful flow.

Pondtastic.
Fantastic value can't judge performance yet as the pond isn't mature yet but for the price I'm sure I won't have any complaints

You won't get a better product or service.
This is a first class combination, easy to assemble, and had the bonus of arriving 14 hours after I ordered it.
